I booked in for a skin cancer check - got in almost immediately. Dr Fred was very thorough and personable and explained the process really well and what things were that a 65 year old has.... Sun spots skin tags etc.... A very good experience and I felt very comfortable with the whole deal there.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this practice based on my unpleasant experiences on the phone following my appointment. At my appointment I was told I had a 50-50 potential BCC on my nose and Dr Vandenbergh said it would require a 'simple 4mm punch cut', so I made another appointment to have it removed. However I rang a couple of days later requesting to speak to the doctor again to get a bit more information about the procedure, being in the middle of my face I am worried about aesthetics, which were not discussed at my initial appointment. The receptionist rang me back saying the doctor was happy to give me a referral a plastic surgeon. As I was not after a referral I requested again if the doctor could please call me to discuss the procedure. When the doctor called me back the following day, he didn't want to hear my question just reiterated the incorrect advice he was provided by the receptionist, and raised his voice when I tried to clarify my query. I apologised about any confusion and explained I needed some reassurance about how would it end up looking afterwards and whether it would change how my nose looked. The doctor told me he could not perform the procedure as his insurance would not cover him. I asked about my options and was referred to another doctor at the clinic for a follow up appointment for a 2mm biopsy instead. After all this, I felt upset by the tense phone experiences, the changing course of advice and the lack of due care. I cancelled my follow up appointment and will go elsewhere in the future for the follow up.

The clinic staff are excellent, the online booking is easy, the doctor runs on time and is open and friendly.
