Your privacy
You are here to find a clinic, not to be one.
AuraVenu exists to help you find a good clinic near you, not to package up what you do here and sell it to someone else. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we store, what we never do, and the control you have over all of it.
Effective August 20, 2026
We never sell your data
Not your email, not your browsing, not the contact details of a business owner who claims a listing. We have no business model that involves selling or renting personal information, and we never will.
Browsing needs no account
You can search every listing on the site without signing up, logging in, or telling us who you are. We do not ask, because we do not need to know.
Owners stay in control
If you run a business listed here, you can correct your details or ask to be removed at any time. One email is enough, and we do not make you argue for it.
Straight about advertising
Where ads appear, we say plainly who serves them, what cookies they set, and exactly how to opt out. No dark patterns, no buried settings.
What we collect
It depends on how you use us
Almost everyone who visits AuraVenu is looking for a clinic, and we ask nothing of them. The only people who give us personal details are the business owners who claim or submit a listing. The two are very different when it comes to data.
Browsing the directory
Anonymous. No account.
- No account is required to browse or search the directory.
- Anonymous, aggregate analytics: pages viewed, approximate location at the city or state level, browser and device type, and the site that referred you.
- Your country, detected from your IP address, so we can point you to the right regional edition of the site. It is not stored on our servers.
- Minimal cookies for analytics and, where enabled, advertising. You can disable these in your browser and still use the site.
Claiming or submitting a listing
Business details you choose to send us.
- Your name, email address, and role at the business, when you claim a listing or submit a new one.
- The business details you send us: address, phone, website, opening hours, treatments offered, and photos.
- Anything you write in the contact form, along with the email address you send it from.
- A payment confirmation from Stripe if you subscribe to a featured listing. We never see or store your card number.
Our promise
What we will never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
- Sell business owner contact details to lead brokers or marketing lists.
- Build a profile of you to sell to data brokers.
- Require you to create an account before you can browse.
- Quietly weaken any of these promises without telling you.
You're in control
Your data, your call

If you run a business listed here, email hello@updates.auravenu.com and we will correct your details or take the listing down. We do not require you to justify it.
Turn off ad personalization
Visit Google My Ad Center to switch off personalized ads, or block cookies in your browser. Either way the directory keeps working.
Ask us anything
Want to know what we hold, correct it, or have it removed? Email hello@updates.auravenu.com and we will help.
The full policy
The details, in full
The sections above are the short version and are what we actually do. The following is the complete policy for the record.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to AuraVenu at https://auravenu.com, including the United States edition and the Australian edition. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices you have. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
Visitors. Browsing the directory does not require an account. We collect anonymous, aggregate analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location at the city or state level, browser and device type, and the site that referred you. We also detect your country from your IP address so we can suggest the right regional edition. This data is not tied to your identity.
Business owners. When you claim an existing listing, submit a new one, or contact us, we collect what you send: your name, email address, your role at the business, and the business details themselves. If you subscribe to a featured listing we store a payment confirmation from Stripe. We do not collect or store your card number at any point.
Public business information. Listings are built from publicly available business information, including data from Google Maps and Places: business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, photos, and reviews. This is information about a business, not about you personally.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Publish and maintain accurate directory listings.
- Verify that someone claiming a listing genuinely represents the business.
- Send essential account and transactional messages, such as claim verification email.
- Operate, maintain, and fix the website.
- Understand which pages and features are useful, in aggregate.
We do not use your information to build a marketing profile of you, and we do not sell it.
4. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This is a core commitment, not a setting you have to find. If this ever needed to change, we would tell you clearly and ask for your consent first.
5. Advertising and cookies
Where advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense to serve it. There are a few things you are entitled to know about how that works:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or to other sites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google My Ad Center.
- You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info/choices or the NAI opt-out page.
Beyond advertising we use minimal cookies for anonymous analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing the ability to browse the directory.
6. Service providers we rely on
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. Each has its own privacy policy.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep listing and claim information for as long as the listing is published, so the directory stays accurate. If you ask us to remove your listing or your claim, we delete the associated personal details. Anonymous, aggregate analytics that cannot identify you may be retained.
8. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, we extend the same core rights to everyone. You can:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct your business details, either through your claimed listing or by emailing us.
- Ask us to remove your listing and the personal details attached to it.
- Opt out of personalized advertising and disable cookies in your browser.
- Ask us a question about your data and get a real answer.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA, or the Australian Privacy Act, including the right to know what we hold and the right to deletion. We honor these requests and will never treat you differently for exercising them. To make a request, email hello@updates.auravenu.com.
9. How we protect your data
We use reputable infrastructure providers, primarily Google Firebase, and take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. We limit who can access account data to what is needed to run the service. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, and we would rather be honest about that than over-promise.
10. Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. If we make a material change to how we handle your personal data, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. We will never quietly start selling your data or weakening these promises.
12. Contact us
Questions about your privacy or anything on this page? We would genuinely like to hear from you.
