I had previously attended Brisbane Skin for injections and laser treatments to help reduce the appearance of a scar, and initially had a somewhat positive experience (they did tell me I would need maybe 4 session but I had close to 10 and the scar is still visible). Because of this, I later returned for skin checks. During a routine skin check, the doctor recommended taking a sample from a flat freckle. I was repeatedly reassured that the procedure would not leave any scarring or change the appearance of the freckle. Unfortunately, since the procedure, the freckle itself is gone but has been replaced by a dark, raised scar approximately the size of a five-cent piece - significantly larger than the original freckle. It has now been nearly a year and the area remains raised, to the point where I will be going else whether to get injections to try and flatten it. My partner also attended the clinic and paid several hundred dollars to have a number of small cosmetic moles removed. The doctor reassured us that the moles were very small and would be easy to remove. However, two of the moles were only partially removed and both have been left with visible raised bumps where the moles once were. When we contacted the clinic around six months later to raise this issue, we were told by reception that the doctor no longer worked there and that it was therefore not their responsibility. We were advised to try and contact the doctor at his new clinic instead. When I questioned this, I was told that if he still worked there they may have been able to assist, but because he had left, nothing further would be done. I was told the matter would be passed on to management, however no one ever followed up. Overall, Brisbane Skin is very expensive and based on our experience, the results did not reflect the cost. I have since had freckles checked and sampled by my GP without any scarring issues, so this outcome was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Brisbane Skin for skin checks, scar removal, or cosmetic mole removal.

I have been a patient at Brisbane Skin for many years, and Sybil has performed my laser treatments on a number of occasions. She is always incredibly professional and explains everything clearly, confidently, and thoroughly, which immediately puts you at ease. The results from Sybil’s treatments have been amazing, with very little to no downtime. Her skill, care, and attention to detail really stand out, and you can see the difference in the results. I highly recommend Sybil and the team at Brisbane Skin.

I had a wonderful experience with Lily. She is incredibly passionate and truly knowledgeable. She took the time to understand my concerns and gave me personalized advice for my daily routine. I really appreciated her thoughtful guidance. I highly recommend her!

Sybil has been doing my peels once a month for the last 12 months, she always knows which peel I need every month as to what my skin is doing at the time. Sybil is very friendly and easy to talk to about everything skin. I would highly recommend Sybil. Unfortunately I am relocating to Victoria this month, but when I'm visiting Brisbane I will definitely be booking in for a peel with Sybil .
