Cosmetique® Robina – Cosmetic & Laser Clinic

Absolutely horrible experience. I had been a loyal client here for several years and never had any issues until my last visit. My friend and I booked our appointments together — it was her first time, and she was so excited. Unfortunately, due to heavy traffic, we arrived just five minutes late. Despite my offer to give up my own appointment so my friend could still have hers (which would’ve kept everything on schedule since our bookings were 15 minutes apart), the staff member refused to see either of us. We were disappointed but remained calm and respectful. Later, I was shocked to find out that she had told her boss we were rude and that she felt threatened — which is completely untrue. Because of that false report, I’ve been banned from returning, and management refused to hear my side of the story. I’m honestly appalled and deeply disappointed. I did nothing wrong, yet I was treated unfairly and lost access to a clinic I had supported for years.

Stay away. I purchased 10 laser sessions and every time I receive multiple calls from different people less than 24 hours before each appointment advising that I’d need to reschedule. I find this unprofessional, and so frustrating when I reschedule with one individual but still get multiple calls about how my original appointment needs to be rescheduled from another. I have now been informed the clinic is shut and I was told to reschedule at Maroochydore, that’s three hours away from me. The individual on the phone was shocked I needed a refund for my remaining laser appointments and just gave me an email address to contact, nothing else. EDIT: I bought 10 sessions for $400 and used 5 - they will only refund me $75. It also took 4 months to get the $75 refund. Appalling.

BEWARE this “clinic”! TREATMENT DID NOT WORK, I PAID FOR TREATMENT THEY FORGOT TO DO but NEVER REFUNDED ME FOR, it was EXPENSIVE & VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. ~~~ EDIT - 30/09/25: My original review was written in story format with more detail but in order to stay within Google limits, I’ve shortened it to add my update here. After receiving Cosmetique’s response to my original negative review, I e-mailed them as requested. I provided a VERY detailed outline with dates, treatment details, receipts, e-mails, text messages & more. The evidence against them is CLEAR. Cosmetique acknowledged my email (Victoria) & promised to respond, then she vanished. Later heard from Nida who also promised to respond, then she vanished. Later heard from a 3rd “unidentified person” who promised to respond but of course, they then vanished too. My attempts to follow up since have all been ignored. I have remained kind & calm in ALL correspondence with Cosmetique, but they’re just blatantly ignoring me. I’m now taking the matter to AHPRA, The Office of Health Ombudsman & Therapeutic Goods Administration. ~~~ MY EXPERIENCE: - I made an appointment for Botox to my aching jaw (TMJ grinding issue). I was assured proper Botox was available as I specifically asked. - Arrived at Cosmetique, a small & dingy clinic that looks nothing like the photo. No reception & no one there expect 1 young injector (Jess) in an empty room with 2 chairs. Dark, hot, cheap feeling, almost creepy. - Jess suddenly says we’re not using proper Botox but an “off label product” that I’d never heard of, despite getting these jaw injections for 10+ years. She assured me it was the same as Botox. I was hesitant but in so much pain that I proceeded. We also ended up treating another few areas of my face. Dead quiet atmosphere, awkward, unwelcoming, I couldn’t wait to leave. Jess skipped SEVERAL AHPRA guidelines. Jess said she would follow up in 2 weeks to check on my result. I paid $1,098.65 & left. - Received a call from Jess an hour after my appointment saying she forgot to inject an area of my face that I’d paid for. She agreed to a refund on the phone & also in writing via text. (Refund never received to this day, 5 months later). - I was offered a discount on my next treatment in exchange for a 5-star Google review, which I NEVER would’ve given them as I’d already decided to NEVER return to this awful clinic. I agree with other negative reviewers on here that this explains the amount of 5-star reviews they do have - they’re fabricated & are incentivised. - I text Jess 3 weeks after treatment to advise “Botox” was not working, when it should have worked within 7 days. Asked Jess the name of the product she used so I could research it. Asked Jess if we needed to do a top-up dose. Asked Jess about the refund that never showed up for the work she forgot to complete. Jess read my text (as she has iPhone ‘read receipts’ on, so I know she saw it) but she ignored me. I hadn’t heard from her for the 2 week follow up appointment she promised either. - 5 weeks later, still in terrible pain with NO result, I went to a REPUTABLE clinic where I spent $950.40 on PROPER Botox to ALL THE SAME AREAS Cosmetique had treated just weeks before. This treatment worked within the week, as it should & always has for me. It was then I realised, COSMETIQUE ARE USING A CHEAP, OFF-LABEL “BOTOX” PRODUCT THAT THEY WILL NOT EVEN CONFIRM THE NAME OF. - I was continually receiving promo text messages from Cosmetique, borderlining on harassment, with no option to opt out. I text Jess & Cosmetique’s main number, asking to be taken off the mailing list or I would leave a negative Google review. No response from Jess or Cosmetique. - Kept receiving promo texts so then left a negative Google Review for Cosmetique Robina, telling my story. FINALLY received a public response from Cosmetique on Google (see below), asking me to contact them for a resolution. As stated above, I provided a detailed e-mail with all evidence but have been completely stuffed around & ignored. I’m now taking it further. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

My experience at Cosmetique was faultless! They were super professional, great customer service, a very helpful call centre and it was a very quick and straight forward procedure. I would definitely recommend Cosmetique to anyone wanting or thinking about having injectables. Bang for buck too!
