Had the absolute best experience here! Booked in for the Skin Program, and had the lovely Alyssa take me through the whole thing. She explained my skin analysis so clearly and gave such amazing insight into what was recommended to help me. Would 100% recommend this service for anyone looking to improve their skincare routine. I walked away very happy and with a bunch of new products! 10/10 would recommend Alyssa and Indulgences to anyone looking for a caring and well-informed beauty therapist!

A gift card given to me had been lost in my relocation from Newcastle to Lake Macquarie and resurfaced 11 months after the expiry date quoted on the card. Checking the legalities of such an expiry, confirms 3 years "as a minimum", must be provided by a retailer. Therefore Indulgences are within their rights, however their approach from the outset was "it has expired, therefore it is worthless". No further discussion. Disappointed as I am, it is clear they are happy to take your money and under no circumstances will they offer any compensation if you miss the expiry date. I note even Jetstar offer credit on cancelled trips that "never expire". Be mindful of this when dealing with Indilgences Beauty Therapy and ensure you act within their terms of the gift card arrangements. "Expiry means Expired". Thanks for the donation.

Poor client service. I booked in a week or so ago, with the appointment scheduled for the following night. On the day of the app, I was advised that I'd need to work from our Sydney office and could not make the appointment in time. I called around 9.00am to cancel the appointment, apologising and offering to reschedule to the next week. The individual I spoke with told me that they would be charging me a fee for the last reschedule regardless. I asked if she had the discretion not to impose the fee, as I could not avoid the commitment and had called as soon as I knew. She said no. She suggested I reschedule to later that same day in order to avoid the charge. I couldn't make any appointments that day (as I was commuting to and from CBD Sydney) but left with no other alternative I said yes. She reiterated that if I missed that appointment, the fee would be even larger. I have now been charged a substantial penalty for missing the appointment. I have had 3 or so appointments with Indulgences before and have never missed one. I can see a similar review below regarding the clinic's lack of accommodation in unforeseen circumstances. This is not the way to retain loyal clients.

My Signature Treatment with Sarah today was next level luxury. I can’t decide which bit I liked best - the massage or the facial. Sarah was so friendly, professional and extremely good at her job. I’m already looking forward to another one!

I tried to contact this clinic both before and for more than a week after my appointment to let them know I had sustained a head injury and would be unable to attend. Despite repeated calls, I couldn’t reach anyone and eventually had to walk in just to speak with someone. When I eventually spoke with the owner and explained the circumstances, I was met with hostility and a complete lack of professionalism. Instead of acknowledging the clinic’s poor responsiveness, I was asked why I was “only letting them know a week after the appointment,” as though the fault was mine. This reaction was particularly disappointing given the situation. I have been to other clinics in the Junction (e.g. Melissa Skin) and have never experienced anything remotely similar. If the owner wishes to emphasise that they are “running a business,” then they should recognise that customer care and loyalty are the foundation of any successful one. Sadly, that was entirely absent here.
