Beautiful and immaculately luxe clinic! Ayana and her colleague are fabulous at what they do. Very meticulous, engaging and patient. Never rushed like at other joints! They use the Candela machine which is AMAZING. 10* for service, facility and location 🤩🤩🤩🤩 See you ladies soon again 💋

*Update: The manager from the clinic called me to apologise about what happened and handled the situation very well and professionally. I was pleased with how the clinic intends to improve things moving forward. I had a poor experience at the Laser Clinics Australia, Prahran location. I've been getting laser hair removal for years and thought I'd get my snail trail done at this location (which I hadn't been to before). Given I hadn't been to this clinic before, I didn't want to shave the area prior to my treatment, so that the technician could see what we were working with, hair colour, texture, etc., which I believe is crucial to proper treatment. Upon arrival, and after settling into the treatment room, I was told I would need to pay a $16 shaving fee if I wanted to get treated!? This is the same price as the treatment itself and for a tiny area!? It honestly felt like the equivalent of going to a pub, paying $16 for a pint, and then being told you'd need to pay an additional $16 for the glass. Felt like a big money grab. I kept being told that this was a "new policy" and that the bosses were being very strict about abiding by it. I almost thought about walking to Priceline across the street and buying my own $5 razor to prove a point. I also was not sent any communication prior to treatment informing me of this new additional fee. When the technician proceeded to treat my underarms (which I had shaved prior to arrival), there were a few small patches I'd missed. All the other clinics I've been to in the past, have shaved these patches off, but not here. The technician proceeded with the treatment which lead to a very hot/burning sensation, which I was told was because I had missed some spots when shaving. Crazy that touching up these areas wasn't part of the treament. Safe to say, I will not be returning to this clinic and in doing so, will be losing out on my treatment package which is a huge shame. I should also add that they make you fill out a consent form at reception before your treatment, but half of what you're consenting to needs to be after you've spoken to your technician? Ie. "I consent that the technician has told me about the potential risks of treatment"... which doesn't actually happen until you are inside the consultation room?? Clearly, these forms are completed to tick a box, and not for the sake of your own well-being. I really should have done more research before booking here.

I am sharing my personal experience as a customer so others can make an informed decision. I undertook a laser hair reduction package at this clinic this year and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. Over the course of my treatments, my therapist was changed multiple times. Only during the final 3–4 sessions did I feel any consistency or comfort with the treatment approach. At the time, I gave positive feedback because I genuinely believed that encouraging them would motivate better service and results. I am an emotional and empathetic person, and I chose to trust that they would take my experience seriously. However, seeing myself in the mirror now, I feel deeply disappointed and distressed. The condition of my hair growth has become worse than before, and it has affected my confidence and emotional well-being. I regret that my goodwill was not met with the professional care and accountability I deserved. I had no hair above my elbows and no hair on my shoulders before beginning treatment. During the course of the sessions, I began noticing new hair growth in areas that were previously hair-free, including around my elbows. This has been extremely distressing for me. When I raised my concerns, I did not feel they were addressed in a transparent or satisfactory manner. Instead of a clear review of treatment history or parameters, I was given various explanations for the lack of results, and towards the end of my package I was asked to pay additional money as the centre did not keep a proper track of my sessions. Given the amount I invested (over $2000), I expected a higher standard of care, consistent treatment planning, and accurate record-keeping. Unfortunately, this was not my experience, and the outcome has left me with more hair plus wasted time and money, feeling frustrated and disappointed. I hope the clinic will review its procedures regarding therapist continuity, documentation, and client communication so that future clients have a better experience. For the number of sessions I had, I expected less hair on my body, not more.
