I will never return to this store. On my first visit, I waited nearly an hour past my appointment time before the treatment even began. On my second visit, I arrived less than 10 minutes late and was forced to endure unreasonable handling by the staff, lost money, and received extremely poor hair removal results. On the third visit, I tried to raise my concerns with the manager, but they refused to address the issue at all. When I arrived less than 10 minutes late for my appointment, the staff immediately reduced my already paid three-area treatment to only two areas. They told me I could pay extra out of pocket that day for the two areas and keep the prepaid three-area treatment for next time, claiming the schedule was fully booked. I explained that I had already prepaid for five sessions and would not pay again for a treatment I had already purchased. They said there would be no refund and no rescheduling. Rescheduling would incur a cancellation fee, meaning I would lose the cost of one session entirely. After arguing with the staff for 10 minutes, she finally agreed to refund $75 in store credit (deducting the price difference between the plans), but with an attitude of “you should be satisfied now.” I was absolutely not satisfied. After the recovery period, the hair removal results were extremely poor. I went back again two weeks ago to report this. Another staff member told me the store manager was not in on weekends and would leave a message for the manager to call me back once they returned to work. To this day, I have still not received any call from the manager.

I had a great experience at Laser Clinics Australia on the Sunshine Coast. The staff were extremely professional and kind, taking the time to clearly explain how the procedure works and what steps I needed to follow after the session. The clinic itself was very tidy and spotlessly clean, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout my visit. I would highly recommend their services.

This is the first time in my life I’ve ever had to write a negative Google review, which is genuinely sad. In every previous situation where I had an issue with a service or product, I contacted the business and the matter was resolved respectfully. Unfortunately, my experience with Laser Clinics was the complete opposite. From January 2025 to July, I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this issue. At no point did I receive empathy, professionalism, or even basic respect as a paying customer, let alone as a human being. The treatment showed no meaningful results (less than 10% reduction after more sessions than recommended), which I documented with photos and showed in person. During one session, I sustained a burn, which led staff to stop the treatment and ask me to leave. The amount refunded was only for the unfinished session, this was not a refund, but the bare minimum. Afterwards, the company denied the burn, claimed clinical follow-ups that never occurred, made false statements about me, and even threatened legal action if I shared my experience publicly. It is extremely disappointing to see a large company treat a client with such disregard and intimidation. I am sharing this not out of revenge, but out of responsibility, so others are aware. This is no longer about money only, it is about truth, dignity, and accountability.
