Saw Dr John Frewen on 30/1/2026 for a suspect brown spot on my face. Found him to be affable, empathetic and showed a genuine interest in me as a patient and person, listening to all my concerns. In an era where visiting a doctor can feel robotic and transactional, I felt my health needs were prioritised by a skilled and genuine medical professional. Would definitely see him again. 10/10 experience.

I’ve been seeing Dr Wenyuan Liu and my nurse Xin at Northside Dermatology for just over a year now, and the experience has been exceptional from the very beginning. They have always been warm, friendly and incredibly understanding of my skin concerns, with a level of knowledge and professionalism that immediately put me at ease. I had been struggling with painful acne that had left scarring, along with long-term sun damage. The treatment plan they recommended has been incredibly effective, far beyond what I expected. My skin has improved dramatically, and I finally feel confident again. The team is thorough, attentive, and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for their patients. A wonderful experience whenever I go there, which is every 3 months. The Reception Ladies are really amazing and as it's a very busy practice their friendliness shines through. Xin is amazing! Before seeing Xin, another lady in Heidelberg had lasered my angioma twice which just made it more raised. I saw Xin and after one session, it was gone without a trace. I recently went back for vascular laser to treat veins and once again, she has done a great job! Thank you Xin! You are a true professional!

I highly recommend Northside Dermatology. They carefully addressed all my skin needs with great attention to detail. My first visit was a thorough skin check, followed by two intensive facial laser treatments. Sophia, my dermal clinician, was exceptional working alongside Dr Wenyuan; she provided expert care and helpful advice. If you're considering facial laser treatments, I highly recommend Sophia - her expertise and caring nature are outstanding!
