I have been a patient of Dr Emily Shaw since 2017. She is a wonderful doctor. Emily has managed a few unusual lesions for me over the years. She always gives a thorough explanation of the biopsy result and the pros & cons of treatment options. She even called me after hours just before Christmas one year to let me know that my biopsy sample had been sent to Sydney for further investigation so I wouldn’t worry. She is kind, compassionate & really cares about the wellbeing of her patients. The new clinic looks fantastic. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

First visit to the clinic today and couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The practice itself is beautiful, spotless, and very calming. Dr Rowan Kruysse was absolutely brilliant — thorough, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt completely at ease and confident that I was in great hands. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing a skin check. Thank you

I’ve been seeing Dr Emily Shaw at Western Skin Institute for my regular skin checks for over five years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly thorough, professional, and genuinely caring. At one of my more recent check-ups, Dr Shaw detected a tiny – almost invisible – skin cancer on my nose. Because she found it so early, I was able to avoid surgery, and she successfully treated it with photodynamic light therapy (PDT) instead. Her attention to detail, kindness, and expertise means that I would never go anywhere else. I look forward to following her to their new location at Pioneer Skin Doctors in Grovedale, Geelong.

I have had Dr Emily Shaw as my skin doctor for 5-6 years at Western Skin Institute. I obviously did the wrong thing in the sun as a child. Emily has found 5 melanomas on my back over the time she has treated me. Had I not been to see her I believe I would not be here to give this review. Her being my lifesaver I will be having 6 monthly appts with her for the rest of my life. Look forward to visiting the new Pioneer Skin Doctors practice. Gary Clark.

My wife and I have been a regular patient of Emily Shaw at her previous clinic on Colac Road since 2018. We have found her to be helpful, thorough and caring. She and her support team have always been accommodating to our needs. Victoria and her fellow staff at reception greet us with a friendly smile and nothing is ever too much bother. We will continue to see Emily at the new premises for Pioneer Skin Doctors on Pioneer Road Grovedale . I recommend attending this clinic for all your skin problems. Trevor and Jennifer Millar
