I honestly can’t speak highly enough of Skin Chex. I’ve been to a few clinics over the years, and this has easily been the best experience. Dr Martin is an absolute gentleman with a great sense of humour, which makes what could be an awkward appointment feel really comfortable. He’s incredibly thorough — full body check, photos taken, everything documented properly so changes can be tracked over time. Nothing feels rushed or brushed off. What I really appreciated was how clearly he explains things. He goes through the different types of skin cancers and pre-cancerous spots, and also tells you exactly what your random lumps and bumps actually are. Even things you didn’t think were worth mentioning get looked at properly. It gives you a lot of peace of mind. He’s genuinely passionate about skin health, and you can tell he really cares about his patients. You walk out feeling reassured, informed and like you’re in very safe hands. Highly recommend booking in if you’ve been putting it off.

From the very beginning, Dr. Martin went above and beyond in his care and service. I had initially made an appointment with HotDoc that was immediately canceled because I had made an error in booking the appointment. Dr. Martin not only called me after hours to help me book in the proper way but took time to discuss concerns over a mole on my head. At the full screen examination, he was very thorough and him and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. And after I had some moles removed via cryotherapy, one of them had a complication, and he made sure to fit me in that same day to get it treated immediately. He and his staff are very warm and show great care. I highly recommend!

This the only review I’ve ever done. I’ve have seen 4 different skin specialists in the last 4 years and Dr Martin is by far the best. Caring attentive and thorough, he takes time to properly assess. Photographing all potential areas of concern and carrying out the appropriate action. He seems to genuinely care for his patients. As such I would highly recommend him.

I've used MoleMap before & found the experience underwhelming so put off having regular skin checks until I really needed one. I went to Skin Chex expecting a similar experience but was blown away by the careful & methodical manner in which the check was conducted. I've needed to return since, to have a growth removed & I can't believe I'm writing this but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Dr Martin is so passionate about what he does that I find myself learning from him during each appointment. Unlike MoleMap, Skin Chex provides a personal experience & i know Dr Martin & his fabulous crew are genuinely invested in my health. I know that with him looking after me, I'm in very good hands. Absolutely recommend.
