I’ve had an exceptional experience at Skin Partners. Dr Leona Yip is a wonderful dermatologist — knowledgeable, compassionate, and highly skilled in treating hair loss. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes you feel genuinely supported throughout the process. The entire team at Skin Partners reflects this same warmth and professionalism. I’m truly grateful to have found such excellent care. Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Dr Leona Yip for the past two years and have consistently had the most wonderful experience. Last year I underwent a series of PRP treatments for my hair, and this year I’ve been doing Exosome treatments and I’m genuinely amazed by the results from both. Dr Yip is incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional. She explains everything clearly, is extremely knowledgeable, and always makes me feel completely comfortable and well-informed throughout every treatment. Her clinic is beautifully maintained it’s modern, always clean, and inviting. I always feel supported, cared for, and completely assured that I’m in the best hands. I couldn’t recommend Dr Yip more highly. She is exceptional at what she does.

Love this clinic and would highly recommend it. I was also lucky enough to be treated by Dr. Leona Yip herself. Dr. Yip and her staff were all lovely, kind, caring, and attentive from the moment I stepped through the door. Any questions I had were answered without hesitation and communicated kindly—I never felt silly for asking questions, and every response was well-informed and easy to understand. Throughout the process, Dr. Yip carefully explained everything I would feel and consistently checked that I was okay. Her assisting nurse also took excellent care of me. I chose Skin Partners for quality in both treatment and service, and that is exactly what I received.

I chose Skin Partners as I was looking for a quality experience. Instead I found my treatment was impersonal, included inaccurate blanket statements such as no actives (vs discussing current products used and that indeed, some actives are appropriate). When checking my current prescription medication for any potential interactions my dermatologist made unsolicited and clinically irrelevant commentary on my weight, which felt like a huge overstep, incredibly intrusive, appalling. I found my dermatologist to be condescending, unwilling to explain how or why decisions were made, and unable to tailor an individual plan for me. I feel as though my dermatologist defaulted to a conservative, cookie cutter approach instead of making an individual evaluation. My dermatologist seemed exasperated by me asking questions. My last appointment lasted 11minutes in total. This is not the quality of service one would expect.

I went to this clinic hoping for a specialist's insight into my hair loss, specifically because I suffer from severe skin buildup and scalp scaling. I paid $400 expecting a thorough diagnosis. I explicitly told the doctor about the heavy skin buildup on my scalp and constant scratching. However, instead of investigating the cause of the scaling or examining my scalp under a microscope to differentiate between simple balding and a skin condition, the doctor immediately pushed a prescription for Minoxidil and Finasteride. When I asked a logical question—suggesting we treat the scalp skin condition first to exclude variables before starting heavy medication—the doctor called it a "hippy way." I understand that statistically, 95% of hair loss cases are standard genetic balding. However, the entire point of seeing a specialist is to rule out that other 5%. I expected a proper medical diagnosis before committing to heavy medication, especially since my symptoms could potentially point toward an inflammatory skin condition like Psoriasis or Seborrheic Dermatitis. I could have received this exact same generic advice from a GP for free. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your $400 here.
