I’ve been here twice- once for laser tattoo removal and once for a medi-facial. By far this was the best facial I’ve had and I’d highly recommend Abi as she listened to my concerns and was very caring. I left with my skin feeling refreshed with reduced inflammation and I’m super relaxed. Will definitely go back!

My first impression of the R Clinic was an immediate sense of calm and relaxation. The reception area not only smelled devine but gave off a very luxurious, pampered and professional vibe. The staff were super friendly and lovely to speak to. They made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend the clinic to anyone embarking on their skin care journey

I have only positive feedback for both Dr Mel and Rob the sonographer, and for the R Clinic in general. I had treatment for a varicose vein and throughout the process I was given clear information about the procedure, results I could expect and any follow up needed. I’m squeamish and both practitioners enabled me to relax. The appearance of my vein has improved immensely at the 3 month mark and I’m no longer feeling pain or aching associated a varicose vein.The lovely staff managed my appointment bookings, payment of fees and purchase of stockings so all I had to do was show up!

I visited this clinic for the pigmentation removal and overall skin tone betterment caused by sun damage . Dr said i need only one session of pico laser and it will resolve all my issues on skin. I happily bought one session which is for $650+ and was started waiting for my skin to look better and after 3 weeks they booked me another appointment as a follow up and my skin looked same with 2% less spots and then doctor advised me to get more treatments and use presciption creams. Which wasnt explained me before having this treatment. I would not recommend this clinic for south asian people clearly they dont know about this skin type. I paid $650 for nothing. I am highly disappointment with results.

Poor Experience with RClinic Canberra and Dr. Melanie Sung – Please Read Before Booking I’m sharing my experience so that others don’t go through what happened to me: wasting time, money, and ending up needing further treatment to correct the results of a poorly performed procedure. At first, it was quite difficult to get in touch with RClinic to book an appointment, but eventually I managed to schedule the necessary tests and a consultation with Dr. Melanie Sung. My goal was to undergo treatment to remove very fine spider veins on both legs, something I had done years ago in my home country with excellent results. Dr. Sung recommended a combination of laser and injection treatment, to be performed in a single session given how minimal the veins were. After the session, I waited several weeks to see results, but unfortunately there was absolutely no improvement. The spider veins looked exactly the same, and in some areas my legs looked worse, with visible bruising that still hasn’t disappeared. According to a second medical opinion I later obtained, I will now need additional treatment to reduce those marks. Since the treatment clearly hadn’t worked, I contacted the clinic again and requested a follow-up with Dr. Sung. After paying nearly AUD 750 for a single session and AUD 430 for the legs scan, it was unacceptable that not only had the veins not improved, but that some areas were worse. Dr. Sung acknowledged the lack of results and offered to repeat the session. Sadly, this was the worst mistake I could have made. She repeated the treatment on one of the areas, and I ended up with laser burns that left the skin even worse than before. Several months later, the marks are still visible and have not healed. Following this, I returned to the clinic demanding a solution. I explained that I had undergone the same type of procedure in the past, with far more visible veins, and had obtained outstanding results. This time, however, not only did the treatment fail, but it left permanent marks and bruises. The clinic offered to refund only the cost of the laser session (not the preliminary test), which I accepted, as I had completely lost confidence in their ability to fix what they had done. A second professional opinion confirmed that the correct techniques had not been applied, resulting in a highly visible vein and bruise on one leg that won’t fade unless I undergo further treatment, and burns on my skin caused by the laser. I am attaching photos of the results for transparency. The first photo was taken the day after the treatment, and the subsequent photos were taken four months after the second procedure. I sincerely hope that by sharing this, others can avoid going through what I did and can make an informed decision before choosing this clinic for cosmetic treatments.
