Thank you very much to Aesthetics and Medical Lasers. The professionalism and detailed explanation sets them apart. They removed Dermatosis Papulosa nigricans lesions and micro-needling on my face. 6weeks later my face is glowing and looking the best it has which is really nice at the age of 50. I continue to enjoy the products given to me to use after the treatment. I will definitely use their services again and recommend them . Thanks

Dr Roland Kufuuma’s shockwave therapy treatments were a game-changer for my shoulder with calcific tendinosis. I had seen two different PTs in Longmont over 4 and 9 months respectively, and while the exercises helped strengthen the shoulder, pain relief was either minimal or intermittent. Especially overhead lifts and arm resting on center console in car, hitting bumps was painful. I have now gone to 5 sessions for ESWT (over just a few weeks) and the pain-free range of motion for the shoulder has improved immensely - absolutely eye-opening, and way more effective than PT alone. I can now do overhead lifts (still carefully since not 100% yet). I’m bummed this treatment wasn’t recommended earlier by other docs. If you’re curious about efficacy: search for ESWT on Google scholar - lots of papers at NIH and other entities about high and low energy versions and how well they work. Of note: Roland is very involved in track and field (US team) and uses this with many other athletes, and I can see why.

I was fortunate enough to receive Shockwave therapy treatment from Dr. Kafuuma on my knee and toe joint. As an elite Masters Track and Field athlete, it is important to have all cylinders firing perfectly! With that comes great flexibility. In having Osgood-Schlatter disease (OSD) as a child and possibly now a meniscus tear those type of ailments may shorten my career. The non-invasive holistic approach of Dr. Kafuuma allowed me to train and compete in the same day! No scalpel, no rehab and no downtime! Since the treatment my range of motion has increased slightly with less pain. I look forward to having more treatments in the future with shockwave therapy as this would increase my performance.
