Had a consultation with Grace regarding a chemical peel. Because my cheeks were flushed (probably from the hour+ I was in the car driving there with the heat blowing on me), in looking at me across the desk she diagnosed me with Rosacea and then later in our talk, Excema! I have neither. Bottom line, she was uncomfortable doing the peel and that's certainly her perogative. I guess I could get a note from the dermatologist confirming that I don't have either of those skin conditions, but right now,I am very disappointed and feeling that I just wasted a day off from work.
The staff was very welcoming and explained pre and post procedure care. They made sure I was comfortable at all times throughout the procedure
I went to Hackensack Medspa for a free consultation, but when booking the appointment, I was told I needed to pay a $30 deposit to hold the spot. They explained that if I went through with a procedure, the $30 would be applied toward the cost. However, I decided not to move forward with any treatment, and they still charged me the $30. I feel this should have been made clearer upfront, as it was presented as a free consultation.
Very professional, attentive and gave all the procedure important information was explained. I just need more local anesthesia please
Really disappointed with the facial I got. Barley extracted anything and instead aggressively agitated my skin.
