I’ve been seeing Erin for laser hair removal Brazilian and underarms for over a year now, & she is truly amazing. She’s incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and caring. She even gives me helpful recommendations to keep my bikini line looking flawless. Erin always has such a positive attitude, & you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She’s quick, efficient, & makes every appointment as comfortable as possible. I especially appreciate how she talks you through the process to help distract you from the pain…it really works! Great job, Erin. You’re awesome!

I have not been to the spa to receive services (I am sure they are great), but I met a rep from Jiva at an event and was very disappointed with the experience. The rep said they were selling mystery bags for $20. She hyped them up saying they were worth way more than $20 and that it contained skincare. After I purchased one and went home, I opened the bag to find the only skincare inside was a sample size (which is free!!!!). I added a picture of the items inside the bag (headband, guasha, mirror, ring light, and sample size skin care). I’m pretty sure these are mostly free items the medspa gets from vendors. Overall, I felt like an idiot for falling for this scam and losing my money. It me with a bad taste for how they handle customer satisfaction, so I will not be going to Jiva for services.

Michael was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so comfortable for my first micro-needling procedure, I was very nervous, but she explained and talked me through the entire thing! Highly suggest going there for any med spa wants or needs. I am so excited and can’t wait to continue with my next two micro needling treatments!

I have had the pleasure of receiving full body laser hair removal treatment from Erin Butler for almost a year now. She is very informative and always makes sure I am comfortable during my appointments. Not only that, she is a great conversationalist and works very diligently with me. I am always excited for my upcoming appointments because the staff provides a comfortable and accepting environment for anyone who walks through their doors. Whatever treatment you’re looking for, I highly recommend going to the Jiva Med Spa!

I rarely ever leave bad reviews for businesses but I feel I’d be doing a disservice to people in the Columbus area if I didn’t. The only reason this place has 4.7 stars is because 2 employees are good at Tattoo removals apparently. I hope people take that into consideration when doing their research. That said, I started using this med spa in October of 2024 for semaglutide treatments. Dr. Nanda was extremely pushy and oversold me on a year long package he guaranteed to work- and not only were the results less than promised, the experience toward the end was extremely shady and unsettling. Three quarters into it- I felt trapped into something bad. I stopped my treatment and here’s why... I went from receiving my injections once a week on site to having to administer my own at home- because they fed me and some others I knew who were using Jiva some bs story that someone somewhere unrelated to Jiva died because they were receiving mailed semaglutide at home and decided to reuse their own needle when they were self administering…and that’s how they died…So that is Jiva’s excuse as to why they couldn’t administer shots in office? Makes no sense right? Turns out, they actually had their license suspended for selling a different semaglutide earlier that same fall to some people in the Columbus area that was “not fit for human consumption” (check local news outlets for reference to this) If that isn’t horrifying enough, they switched to Valiant Compound Pharmacy for their Semaglutide brand treatments (what they had put me on) and that specific pharmacy has a very low weight loss success rate. When my results weren’t as effective as promised, what did Dr. Nanda do? Admitted he was aware of that and that’s why they were switching yet again to another compound pharmacy, offered no financial compensation for the bad semaglutide, THEN recommend “off record” I “find a way” to “get rid” of my remaining 3 vials I received and prepaid for on an extremely high interest loan so that he could switch me to Tirzepatide and get more money off that. Absolutely not. That place will never see another dime from me and I hope this review saves a bunch of other people from this giant mistake. I now get Tirzepatide through my doctor and it’s much safer and I’m seeing way better results. Also- the few nice girls that helped me from there? All gone. No longer there. If these aren’t all red flags… My advice- try to use your doctor if you can for weight loss solutions. If you can’t or don’t have a doctor that can help, do your research on med spas before using them. The silver lining to me is that this could have been a potentially way more dangerous situation and I’m thankful it wasn’t.
