I booked a Groupon for one syringe of filler and 60 units of Dysport and drove 45 minutes, taking time off work to make the appointment. Once I arrived, we discussed treatment options. There were some nuances about using filler in the cheeks, which I completely understood and was flexible about. I was happy to proceed with areas the provider was comfortable treating, such as the lips. However, after this discussion, a different physician came in and informed me that my Groupon was not valid for another two months. This was never communicated ahead of time, despite them having access to my chart and booking details. This could have easily been addressed before confirming my appointment and would have saved me time and frustration. As they have my chart they should know when my last appointment was and informed on the phone. I even asked ahead to make sure I would be qualified so no excuses there. What made this even more frustrating is that they had already redeemed my Groupon voucher. When I asked for the appointment to be canceled after learning the voucher was not valid, I was told I would need to take it up with Groupon rather than the office resolving it directly. Additionally, I’ve consistently felt a lack of professionalism during my visits and it unfortunately seems tied to the fact that I booked through Groupon. Every patient deserves the same level of respect and care, regardless of how services are paid for. I do not recommend this med spa. There are many other professional and reputable options in Birmingham, and I would strongly suggest choosing one of those instead.

My first time at this facility & I was greeted by friendly staff; however, once I was taken back by physician, I felt rushed and wasn't even sure of what the plan was. The physician left me sitting in the room saying she would be right back and I was left sitting at least 15 minutes, and wasn't sure what I was waiting on. Finally an assistant came in to talk to me and she explained more to me and was nice. I let her know I was not having a great experience due to really not knowing what the plan was and just left sitting. She went over a plan and gave me one price; however when I checked out was told I owed over 100.00 more than quoted while in the room. Because the assistant was already in with another client, the front desk could not ask her about the price difference. That was a big difference to me and I should have known exactly what I was to owe prior to saying yes to the price I was quoted. My experience was not good.

While the place is beautiful, and the people are nice, you should be aware that once you book a service, it is nearly impossible to reschedule. I had this issue with both facial services and cryo. There simply are not time spots available if you need to reschedule. Just something to be aware of when booking.

It was my first time being there. I arrived 10 minutes earlier as requested and did not have to wait long for my appointment either. The nurse/ assistant was honestly so nice and informative. When the doctor came in he didn’t say much other than do his job. The front desk was very nice as well. I may come back for future treatments :)

I had my first appointment here this am for Botox . I rarely write reviews , but this place is so well run , I had to recommend them .I called to check on Botox bc my previous provider is no longer available , a year ago I stupidly tried a dentist and ended up looking like I had a stroke for months (bc she obviously had no idea what she was doing - never get a dentist to do Botox ) I was a bit gun shy on finding a new place. I called this place based on a few reviews, etc and spoke to Ashley who was one of the most amazing employees I have ever talked to , she told me all sorts of offers, etc that were upcoming , she asked about my previous Botox provider and gathered info on the best package for me . She was super patient explaining procedures I had never heard of etc. in short , she is amazing at her job. I made an appointment To go in for a special of 599 for 50 units of Botox and a ‘lip flip “( that sounded a bit painful so I declined ) just stuck w my Botox . This am as I arrived it was a bit confusing finding it. Bc it’s facing canyon road but upstairs on the top floor ( park by the theatre and use the crosswalk - you’ll save time ) maps took me to a locked back door that was underneath this place - so I wanted to make sure you go to the top floor by davenports pizza and walk all the way past the the door I had to ask a nice lady in the floor below them ) Everyone was super friendly and then enter Dr Christensen - this has got to be the nicest Dr I’ve ever encountered and he is truly entertaining ! He was talking about ChatGPT and had me laughing so hard I had to remember to be still as he injected me. I’m sure he was distracting me from the sticks but he is honestly the best at Botox I’ve ever had - & I had my first Botox over 20 years ago , so I have experience. I have had good Docs like the dermatologist I used over 15 years, bad Botox ( the idiot dentist )Then there is Dr Christensen - he is unlike any physician I’ve ever met - loved this guy immediately- he looks like a linebacker , his smile will light up the room. You can tell he is happy doing his work. I am a never going anywhere else . I never thought I’d find a Dr I liked as well as my former Dermatologist , but he’s incredible I haven’t had time to let it settle but he stuck me expertly and in places I had never been stuck ( my eyebrow edge ) so I could tell this was an art form with him. I highly recommend this place . the entire staff is incredible , you won’t regret it. ( be sure and ask him about ChatGPT !he is a big fan( as am I ) 😂😂😂
