I came here twice for a lip flip, something I have done many times in the past, and after my second visit I knew I would never return. Both appointments felt rushed and unprofessional. Suzi did not take time to sit down and properly consult with me. When she asked what I was looking for, her back was turned, and before I could fully explain, she turned around and injected me. There was no clear communication or confirmation before proceeding. Most concerning was the technique used. I was injected directly in the lips, which resulted in significant red irritation at the injection site that lasted for over a month. I tried everything to get it to resolve. When I went back to address this, my concerns were dismissed. I was told that “everyone has different techniques” and that this had “only happened twice.” However, after speaking with another aesthetic nurse, she was shocked that my lips directly had been injected for a lip flip and stated that this is not standard or appropriate technique. After reading additional reviews, I noticed another client described a very similar reaction and experience, which contradicts what I was told. That was extremely concerning to me. I also felt the response to my concerns was defensive rather than professional or patient-focused. I want to be clear that this review is based entirely on my personal experience. With cosmetic procedures, proper technique, clear communication, and professionalism are essential. Unfortunately, those standards were not met here, and I would not recommend this provider for injectables.
I will go to Refresh for anything and everything! Brooke and Suzi are amazing at what they do! I’ve received filler, Botox, laser hair removal, and facials from them and will never go anywhere else. The staff is professional and explains each service, and the office is always so clean! I recommend Refresh to everyone!
I would suggest refresh med spa for any of your aesthetic needs! Brooke and Suzi are very attentive and are great at working with you to make a treatment plan for whatever you are wanting! I had terrible acne for years and they worked with me to try many different products and treatments to make my biggest insecurity go away! The environment is THE BEST and don’t forget about the front desk staff, they make you feel so welcomed when you step in. Everything I have had done at Refresh is so worth it, best in Lincoln by far!!!!!!
Have had the utmost professional and caring experience at Refresh Med Spa!! I have always been thoroughly pleased with the results with any procedures that I have undergone, and that my daughter has undergone. I Highly recommend this Refresh Med Spa to anyone who wants to enhance and improve their beauty, it is money well spent! Furthermore, the staff is not only highly qualified and highly intelligent, but also extremely caring and want the best results for you.
Brooke and the rest of the staff at Refresh are so amazing! I absolutely loved the facial I received. I also love their annual tailgate party! Such a fun way to see what products they have to offer while shopping with some of the best boutiques in Lincoln! I love Refresh Med Spa! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!
