Just had my 2 week post-op appointment with Dr. Pezzella and I couldn’t be more pleased. As an OR nurse I know the quality of her work and the expertise she offers. I’ve had an amazing experience and everyone in her office has been pleasant, professional, and they truly show that they enjoy working to deliver the best possible care. I would recommend her to friends and family members!

Unfortunately I can’t write about my experience with the office because I never had the opportunity to have one. I booked my appointment with this office about six months out and got confirmation that they took my insurance. Less than 24 hours before my appointment the office called me and told me they had to cancel my appointment due to them not taking my insurance. I refuted this and told them I know for certain they took my insurance as they told me they did. She informed me that they took my primary insurance but were not accepting Medicaid (my secondary insurance) patients at the time. When I told her I wouldn’t be using that insurance for the appointment I was told it didn’t matter because they were not taking anyone on Medicaid at this time. Overall this experience was highly unprofessional. I am very upset that I was told this less than 24 hours before my appointment and not when I had first booked it months ago.

For almost 2 years I've been getting a UTI about every 2-3 months. My internal medicine doctor referred me to this nightmare of a office. First they said oh you need a hysterectomy. It's your uterus pushing down on you making you feel like you need to pee. So 70k worth of surgery later I'm still having a UTI about every two months. I sent a message on my chart because they never answer the phone or returned a call and they can't even message me back. I guess I'll just go die of chronic infection. Please use someone else. I know you might feel more comfortable with a woman doctor, but your health is more important.

i went in for an exam for pelvic floor issues. a vaginal PCR test done and sent off to a place that is NOT covered by my insurance. Now i have to pay $3200 bucks for a test. Im really thinking about not going back after my first visit because of this. I feel that my insurance should have been consulted before they decided where to send the test.

Dr. Pezzella is the best! an exceptional surgeon! From the initial consultation to my post-operative care, I felt confident and well-informed. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions patiently, and her bedside manner was truly reassuring. The surgery went smoothly, and I'm recovering well. I highly recommend her !
