Madison provided a wealth of insight into my skin care needs which included product recommendations, skin care procedure changes, questions about my current products (and how to incorporate them with things I’m lacking) Walked out confidently knowing I’m doing the best for my skin at an early age. Leave it to her to cross off another item in my list for me to now super confident in!

The results from the Forever BBL were not what I was led to believe they would be and certainly not worth the cost. I sought a fairly consistent/even color to my face so that I would look better without foundation. In particular, I wanted to be rid if a quarter-size red spot on my right cheek which the nurse practitioner said may be precancerous. After the four treatments, the coloring if my face is marginally better--no one who sees my regularly has noticed any difference. The red spot on my cheek is now somewhat less red, but it and other light brown spots are not gone. The NP remarked today that she didn't think the precancerous spot was ever a concern at all. I think the Iowa Clinic staff are fast talkers who mislead. I think the Med Spa is very money motivated.

So glad masks are optional! Sanity is finally returning. If you think masks work, wear one and leave the rest of us alone. The doctors and other staff here are very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

I recently had a question regarding the colonoscopy prep prescribed. I called the office and was put on hold. After 6 minutes the call was dropped. I called back and the office answered and asked immediately if I could be put on hold. I stated I was on hold and the call was dropped. The response was, “Yeah, it does that” and I was put on hold and after 6 minutes the call was dropped. I called back again and when the call was picked up and was asked to hold I replied, “No”. The caller told me how crazy busy they are on Monday and everyday. I was told a nurse would call me back but no one ever did. Today I called to reschedule a colonoscopy and was told how they are so busy and appointments were “slim pickings.” Well, I will help with the busyness by taking my business elsewhere.

I chose to start my Healthcare journey with the Iowa Clinic because of it being physician owned and multiple specialists available. I did not realize that each time I was referred to another doctor or specialist, I'd be hit with a $280 "new patient" fee. This is such a blatant money grab. The Iowa Clinic should be considered one organization and the first new patient fee should cover any admin costs.
