Jane is a Nurse Practitioner at Wisconsin Vein Center and Medical Spa, who has done several of my cosmetic treatments. Most recently, I’ve been bothered by hemosiderin staining under my eyes after a blepharoplasty and brow lift left severe chronic bruising under my eyes that resulted in iron staining from the red blood cells. She suggested using IPL, as she has had really good results with it for hemosiderin staining in the past, and she’s done a lot of treatments for this condition, which I had never heard of until recently. The IPL treatments were very effective and tolerable and very reasonably priced. I have been struggling with this under eye staining for a couple of years. I’ve tried multiple other treatments without success. I had trouble even covering the dark circles with concealer. It was under the skin, so no treatments like hydroquinone would help. I’m thrilled with the results after just a couple of treatments. There’s really no downtime. I had no idea that IPL was an effective treatment for hemosiderin; I had never heard of IPL as a treatment for hemosiderin, so I thought I would put it out there in case anyone else was having trouble with this. I think it’s important to go to a highly experienced professional like Jane, and especially important also to go to someone who regularly treats spider veins as well, since the treatment is similar. She’s also amazing at Botox and fillers. Really knowledgeable and skilled with placement and aesthetics. Thank you Jane! I highly recommend her!
