I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Zen Medspa and feel compelled to warn others. I have been receiving neurotoxin treatments (at a reputable plastic surgeons office ) consistently for over five years and have never experienced complications like this. After my recent visit, I developed petechiae (small red blood spots) under my eyes, noticeable lumps under my eyes when I smile, visible “bubbling” in my chin when I smile, and a bruise on my forehead at an injection site. My face does not look or feel normal. There were also several red flags during my visit. When the originally scheduled appointment time did not work for me, I was told I could “come whenever” and would just have to wait a few minutes. That immediately raised concerns about scheduling practices and patient flow. The pricing was another major issue. The medspa advertised a $5 per unit promotion, which initially seemed appealing. However, I was told I needed 240 units (I typically receive between 84–92 units). Even at the “$5 per unit” rate, my total came to $720. When I questioned the cost, the receptionist could not explain the discrepancy. Hours later, I received a text stating they had a $3 per unit promotion. The lack of transparency and inconsistent pricing felt extremely misleading. I now have to return to my regular injector to correct what has been done because I no longer trust this provider. In all my years of receiving neurotoxins, I have never had an experience like this. Warning to others: please do your research and be cautious.

Can I just say I lovvveeee Mariam. Like as a person she is so sweet and personable. And as a clinician she is so honest, very educated, very patient. She has an eye for detail and aesthetics and a good eye at that. She was able to correct some botched work I got done from somewhere else. She saw me as many times as it took and always got me seen right away. I love the little details she’s able to pinpoint that make all the difference:) highly recommend. I’ve been to a lot of people and she is by far my favorite 🥰

Mariam explains everything so clearly, and she can honestly answer ANYTHING! Truly knowledgeable in her craft, I have been going to her for 2 years and I really wouldn’t choose anyone else. Just to share - I have gotten botox, lip filler, lip flip, and hair PRP! All great experiences. But know that PRP hurts and there are many needles in the scalp, so it was as great as it COULD be🤣🤣 For the PRP she also used a 34 gauge needle not 32, so the needles are a little smaller than others, thank goodness). 10/10 recommend!

I have never had such better care at a med spa. I live in Colorado but I fly in to receive their services because I know they will do an outstanding job. It’s worth the trip!!! Thank you Miriam.
