I’ve been more than loyal to Birovenus Medispa for 14 years. I’m 54 I look 30. The staff are extremely friendly and Dr Marcus is a master facial artist. The esthetician is the sweetest most gentle woman on the planet and results are mind blowing. They do not sell you services you want because you want them . Dr Marcus is a highly intelligent precisionist and she won’t over do you. If I recommend a medical Medi spa you best believe I do so based on quality and results number #1 and price #2. Look at me I’m 54 and I look fabulous thanks to Dr Marcus.

Has a knowledgeable team of estheticians. The Dr. is not only a certified psychiatrist, but her understanding of the facial anatomy and compassion towards patients and clients alike keeps bringing me back. (I also love how the receptionists at the front desk know me by name and treat me like a friend instead of a consumer).

My experience was WONDERFUL at BiroVenus Medical Spa in Little Silver, NJ. I had an Ulthera or Ultherapy face lift and now look 10 years younger. Dr. Marcus and her staff are very professional. I have been going to BiroVenus for almost 3 years and started with teeth whitening and Botox and filler. The staff at BiroVenus Medical Spa make you feel younger inside and outside. I have been to other spas or doctors in the area but none make you feel like you are the most important patient like Birovenus Med Spa. I also recently had a weight management consultation which has helped by physical appearance in other areas aside from my face.

WARNING! DISFIGURED MY FACE AND ENDED UP IN EMERGENCY ROOM! Learn from my mistake, go to a real dermatologist, Dr. Abir Marcus is NOT. The service performed was not what I asked for or what Dr. Abir Marcus suggested and discussed prior. She suggested filler on the cheek bones to lift the facial skin. This was what I asked for. Instead, she applied it under my eyes which not only did not lift the skin but appears as bags under my eyes and is larger on one side. My face is DISFIGURED. When she was done and showed me in a mirror, I told her it was not what we discussed, it didn’t lift the skin and it just looks like bags under my eyes. She said filler on the cheekbones wouldn’t lift the skin and that she wanted to put it under my eyes because I looked “tired”. This was a blatant lie and the opposite of what she told me during the consultation. She said it was just swollen and would look better with makeup on. In hindsight I should not have paid at that point but I was in shock and emotionally upset. The next morning, I had a large painful lump under one eye. After trying multiple times to reach her, I was told by a doctor over the phone from my insurance company that I needed to see a doctor asap and I went to the emergency room. I was told she punctured a nerve and caused a hematoma. After applying heat for a couple of days (Dr. Abir Marcus told me to apply ice afterwards), it went down a little but it still looks like a large lump. I finally received a call from someone in her office several days later saying it was just “swollen” and to allow up to 10 days. It has now been 3 weeks and my face is not just “swollen”, it is disfigured. Dr. Abir Marcus still has not responded. I also saw a dermatologist to have it removed and she told me it would be an expensive procedure and could not be done without knowing what was injected. Again, Dr. Abir Marcus has not responded. I have also had a constant headache every day since from the pressure on my sinus cavity. Not only did I not receive the procedure that I paid for, I received no benefit from it, just the opposite. The procedure performed was not what I asked for, provided no improvement and has left my face disfigured. I now have what looks like bags under my eyes and a large bump under one. I will also have to incur the expense to have it removed or live with it until it dissolves (about a year). The "doctor" was Dr. Abir Marcus at BIROVENUS Medical Spa.
