A New You Skin & Body Clinic - Med Spa

I’ve only had Botox a handful of times since turning 30, and now at 42 I’ve decided to make it more of a regular part of my self-care routine. This was my second visit to A New You Med Spa. My first experience was back in 2022 with Judith, who was wonderful, which is why I chose to return. This time I saw Michelle for my Botox treatment, and she was absolutely fantastic. Since it had been quite a while since my last treatment, I had a lot of questions and concerns. Michelle took the time to thoroughly explain everything, including what I was hoping to achieve, what to realistically expect, and how different treatment options could help address my specific concerns. My biggest concern wasn’t the typical forehead lines or crow’s feet—it was the vertical lines above my upper lip that tend to develop with age, often called “smoker’s lines.” I had assumed I would need fillers or other injectables to improve them, but Michelle took the time to discuss several options with me. She even recommended affordable products I could purchase on Amazon to help improve the appearance of those lines at home. I really appreciated that she wasn’t trying to upsell me and instead focused on educating me about all of my options. Since I was already receiving Botox, Michelle also suggested trying a lip flip. I decided to go for it, and I am absolutely obsessed with the results. I love how it looks, and it gave me exactly the subtle enhancement I was hoping for. What stood out most was how thorough, knowledgeable, and patient Michelle was throughout the entire appointment. She made me feel completely comfortable, answered every question I had, and never made me feel rushed. The entire experience was professional, welcoming, and informative. I had a great experience with Judith in 2022 and an equally wonderful experience with Michelle in 2026. A New You Med Spa has definitely earned a loyal customer. I’ll absolutely be returning for all of my future Botox treatments and highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for someone who truly listens, educates, and delivers beautiful, natural-looking results.

It has taken me almost a year to write this review, but I feel it is important to share my experience. I was a client at A New You Skin Clinic for several years and primarily saw Judith, who I trusted. My experience changed when I later began seeing Michelle Buckley shortly after she joined the practice. In October 2024, I went in for lip filler before my March 2025 wedding. Michelle advised waiting until closer to the date, which I followed. When I returned, I had a small pimple on my lip and was appropriately told it was contraindicated. As a registered nurse, I understood and complied. I was told to send a photo once it healed. After my lip healed, I followed up and was told I could come in but that bruising and swelling could not be predicted. I repeatedly asked for earlier availability due to my wedding timeline but was told there were no openings. I was eventually seen shortly before my wedding. During this time, I was also dealing with significant personal hardship. My father was critically ill with liver cancer awaiting a transplant, and I had recently lost my 6-year-old nephew to brain cancer. I shared this during my visits. At my final appointment, Michelle looked at my skin and said, “who is that person in that picture because your skin definitely did not look like this before?” and “this isn’t working, like at all.” These comments made me feel extremely small, insecure, and embarrassed during an already emotional time. She then recommended an aggressive ZO Skin Health regimen and told me that if I was not going to be diligent, she would not recommend it. I trusted her and followed the instructions exactly. Shortly after, my skin barrier became severely compromised. My skin worsened significantly leading up to my wedding—far worse than it had ever been. I experienced increased breakouts, irritation, and visible damage. I reached out multiple times to Michelle using the same contact I had previously used to send my photo, including messages with photos asking for help. I received no response. My calls went to voicemail, and I was left without guidance after following the recommended treatment plan. Another aesthetician later confirmed that the aggressive exfoliation regimen further damaged my skin barrier and should not have been recommended, especially given my skin condition. Because of how severe my skin became, I had to have my wedding photos heavily edited, which was extremely upsetting. After years as a loyal client, I am very disappointed. The lack of empathy, guidance, and especially follow-up care after a negative outcome is unacceptable. I do have screenshots and documentation of my communications and the progression of my skin.

I had such a great experience with my consultations. I especially loved that I got to sit in the message chair while I waited because I arrived early for my appointment. The staff is so welcoming and kind. It doesn't feel like they're judging me or irritated by all of my questions. It truly feels so welcoming. I also love that they were honest with me and not just trying to sell me something to make money. To know you can trust what they say is in your best interest and not about the bottom line is so valuable to me. The environment is very warm and inviting, as well. Such a luxury experience, even if you are simply getting a consultation.

I've been getting facials at A New You with Jessi for ~3 months now, and I truly can't recommend her enough. I have incredibly sensitive skin, so I'm always nervous about trying new products or treatments, but Jessi takes the time to listen to my concerns and tailor my facials to what my skin needs. What I appreciate most is that she works with my skin, not against it. She's incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and never pushes treatments that aren't right for me. I leave glowing every single time!! Jessi is seriously a miracle worker.
