RUN TO A BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON!!!!!! The front office staff was terrific. It was my ignorance in not catching he’s not a plastic surgeon. At my consultation for a mini tummy tuck I was assured I did not have diastasis recti by Dr Sobel. He performed a mini tuck removing skin only and 1 year later my bulging stomach was back! I went to 3 consultations with board certified plastic surgeons, all telling me that I have diastasis recti. When I requested my surgery summary notes - He lied on the surgery summary report stating he told me I may need another surgery. No way I would have said yes! I am 5’3’’ , weight 116 lbs for most of my life with the exception when I was pregnant. I have been a fitness instructor much of my life . I hope this helps & saves another woman from having to go through what I have been going through the last 2 years . A BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON is the correct answer, which he is not. Take good care
I had rhinoplasty from Dr Sobel in October, 2024. Dr Sobel was kind, gentle, always jovial and full of positive energy. He was great at tempering my expectations and explaining the outcome of my surgery. I am so very happy how it turned out! My surgery was pretty easy, as was the recovery. Dr Sobel kept me informed and positive the whole way. He did exceptional work and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Highly recommend him!
I have consistently seen Dr. Sobel for the last 5 years. I’ve seen him for breast augmentation surgery (after having/breastfeeding 3 children) as well as injections/filler. He has always taken the time to listen to what I want and give his honest opinion even going as far as telling me more is not always better! He is compassionate and understanding when we discuss my medical history. I found several doctors prior who were not and ultimately led me to Dr. Sobel (I should send them a thank you!). The entire team is upfront with pricing prior to doing any work. I was referred to Dr. Sobel from a trusted friend who also had breast augmentation surgery with him and I’ve gone onto refer several others to him! Very grateful for Dr. Sobel and his team and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend!
From start to finish I always felt listened to and have had ample time to ask all my questions. I had explant surgery in October with the expectation of a lift but Dr Sobel advised me to wait and see how I felt about the lift after I healed. When I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics after surgery I got a call back with instructions within an hour. I can always get a hold of someone and his whole team does what they say they will! Dr Sobel is easy to talk to and I felt like he personalizes my visits.
