Ive been going to them for 2 years. They are amazing. From customer service (Lauren and Kelsey are an absolute joy) to treatment efficacy and safety, I recommend them. Also love that they are connected to my derm office.
The staff is great, but the receptionist who sits on the right ( the Hispanic lady) is extremely unprofessional. She speaks English to non-Spanish people very well, including her coworkers. She called a woman up before me mind you she’s clearly non Hispanic, and their whole interaction was in English. But when I walked up to her and spoke to her IN ENGLISH, she immediately switched to Spanish. Not everyone speaks Spanish, and words can’t describe how irritating it is to have someone assume that just based on how you look. The only reason I knew what to do was because the main receptionist at the front explained everything to me. I don't know how many Spanish-speaking customers they get, but if someone speaks to you in English, you should continue in English. I don't know what makes her think she has the right to switch languages without considering the person in front of her. I just ignored her and left because nobody is trying to sit there and play games with a grown lady. She knows what she’s doing. This is the second time she's done this, and it's very important that this gets brought to her attention because it comes off as disrespectful and could lead to problems. If I speak English to you, I shouldn't have to tell you I don't speak Spanish. She needs training on communication and how to treat people appropriately. I hope this doesn't happen again to me or anyone else. This is a form of racial and ethnic bias, and it can feel discriminatory.
I've been a client for over 10 years...from reception to service I've always been well taken care of. All procedures explained, what to expect, suggested products and at home care, and contact info if issues arise.
I’ve done the laser hair removal treatment 4 times already and have had amazing results. I absolutely love the staff! They are kind, very professional and respectful and do a great job!
