I honestly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Dry and the entire Athenix Bellevue team. I travelled from another country for my 360 lower body lift and it was absolutely worth it. From day one, every nurse and staff member helped ease my fears, answered my questions and made me feel supported. They make travelling for surgery much easier with great local connections for places to stay and recovery support. Everything felt organized and seamless and my recovery has been surprisingly smooth and almost pain free, something I credit to Dr. Dry’s skill and the guidance from his team. My results are beyond what I hoped for. The precision of the incision and the creation of my new belly button show the level of detail and care Dr. Dry brings to his work. What stood out most to me was his dedication and the respect he shows clients going through major procedures, you feel understood and safe. I am going on 4 weeks post-op at Athenix in Bellevue Wa. I have had a Belt Lipectomy with FDL and Muscle Repair with Gavin Dry. Dr Dry’s work is stellar, his explanation of expectations was real, and his work is impeccable. I am very pleased with the surgical care I received. But I want to use this opportunity to give a review of the staff that supports Dr. Dry. The first time I came to Athenix was with a family member when they came for a consultation. The initial intake was thorough and informative, and we never felt rushed. It can be an embarrassing situation to expose that much of yourself to someone, especially when you are unhappy with some physical parts of your body; but the consulting staff were so kind and grounded that it put us at ease. We never felt rushed, and my family member also made follow up calls for some clarifications and received all the information they needed. I was already booked somewhere else for my procedure, but decided to also consult at Athenix. It was pricier, but also local to me so I would not have the expense and concern of travel. My consultation was with a different intake professional, and I experienced the same superior level of care. These folks are so educated and helpful, and I appreciated the time that I got to spend asking questions. I changed my surgery to this practice because of these interactions. The scheduling and front desk staff are top notch. They are very responsive to answering questions and the surgical scheduling folks were great! I have had to nudge some of my appointments, and schedule some more last minute when drains were ready to be removed, and they helped me navigate my calendar. After every appointment, I also stop to chit chat for a moment at the front desk, and they are funny and smart women who give great tips with compression and the like, and commiserated with me on some of the more difficult bits of post-op care. The day of the procedure itself is a bit hazy in my memory, but my nurse at the start of the day was funny enough and helpful enough to keep me feeling safe and secure. It always amazes me when people are intuitive and know what the patient needs to put them at their ease. The anesthesiologist came in and we chatted for a bit and I felt confident in his ability to monitor me and keep me at the right level of out-of-it-ness without complications. The morning of surgery after I was in the surgical suite and being prepped, one of the kindest humans patted my hand and told me everything was going to be alright right before the anesthesia kicked in; that made the morning. And finally, the nursing staff. The nurse that called and did my intake and pre-op info was thorough and informed, and was able to help me figure out when to discontinue some meds, what was fine, and helped me plan out the couple weeks prior to procedure. My follow up appointments with the nursing staff has been gentle and informative, and they have monitored my progress and been attentive to all my concerns. I was given advice and explanation when i bought the wrong type of tape, got tips and tricks for compression and garments, and been guided through my post operative care with complete professionalism. I am very purposefully not calling out each of these folks by name, because together they have provided the care and kindness of family, and I would hate to have missed a single person that has been part of my surgery and follow up. I have my next procedure already booked, thanks to Dr Dry and his entire staff.

I had a breast lift & augmentation done at Athenix Bellevue with Dr. Dry! From the consultation through my recovery, I have felt extremely taken care of. Any questions that have come up have been answered & any worries have been eased.
