I had such a great experience with Katelyn Ely, PA. She was kind, thorough, and immediately made me feel at ease. She performed my biopsy with care and took the time to explain everything, which I really appreciated. She also followed up promptly with my results and made the whole process seamless. I’m so grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent dermatology PA!

I recently got Dysport with Jordan Edwards and couldn't be happier with my experience! She took the time to talk through exactly what I was hoping to achieve and customized my treatment based on what I actually needed. I never felt rushed, and she explained everything along the way, including what to expect afterward. The injections were completely painless! I'm about two weeks out now, and I absolutely love my results. Everything looks super natural, and I still look like me, just refreshed :) I've also had a HydraFacial with Jordan, and my skin was glowing for weeks afterward! I got so many compliments! She's so knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in, and really knows what she's doing! I'll definitely be back!

I gave this practice the benefit of the doubt for a year. I chose Babcock Dermatology because it seemed it might have more of an intimate setting. Maybe a practice that doesn't treat you as a number. This was quite the contrary. Below are some reasons why I am leaving and why you might want to avoid this practice. Wait times: You will wait every-time you arrive for your appointment. Not 5 minutes but more like 30-40 mins. Billing: Prices are outrageous and inconsistent, even for routine clinical visits or prescription refill visits (with commercial insurance). If you call to clarify what is on bill, you will be met with poor/rude customer service and very little explanation. There isn't even a link on the paper statement that directs you where to pay. I received a bill after only a few weeks of my visit with a hand written message threatening to send me to collections. Experience with providers: The providers are ok. I got the feeling that they were just checking boxes. They would ask me questions that were already addressed in previous visits and lose track of the continuum of care. I found it to be very frustrating to have to constantly remind them why I was there. In addition, they could never get the pharmacy correct. I told them several times in-person and over the phone where medications should be sent. If I ever had a question about the medication or where it is being sent, I was often sent straight to an answering service. Sometimes I would get a call back but more often than not I would have to make follow up calls or just show up in-person. This practice has an opportunity to stand out in a landscape increasingly filled with impersonal volume driven clinics. Unfortunately, their focus is more on money and less about the patient experience. Sad

I had such a positive experience with this practice! Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and professional. Jordan was very knowledgeable and attentive, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I truly appreciated not feeling rushed and my appointment ran right on schedule. I’ll definitely keep coming back and would recommend them to anyone looking for great dermatology care.
