Barnett Dermatology of Boca Raton

I have been using Barnett Dermatology for six years. I find the doctor and her staff to be highly competent and treat you like a human being rather than a "patient". The doctor spends time with you to answer any questions/concerns you have, and she has been excellent at explaining any procedures and after care needed. Making appointments is handled professionally and the wait times have been minimal. I give this practice the highest recommendation and will continue to recommend it to family and friends.

I waited a couple of days to write this review in hopes that Barnett dermatology would contact me like they said they would after my very disappointing experience but they never did. I received 2 email confirmations for an appointment I made for my daughter with Dr Barnett. I had called the office 3x in the days leading up and left one message once to confirm this appointment that we had eagerly waited months for. Nobody ever answered the phone or called me back. I was worried only because it had been rescheduled at one point and I just wanted to make sure before pulling my daughter out of school. We showed up and the receptionist said that our appointment had been canceled, and they couldn’t accommodate us. They said I had called 2 days earlier to cancel it, which was untrue and an outrageous claim. No one ever called me back or left a message. I showed the receptionist the confirmation email I had received that morning, explained that I had pulled my daughter out of school. I said we would wait and I asked to speak to Dr. Barnett for a few minutes. She told us to wait in the waiting room. I could see the office staff talking about us when my phone rang and it was a staff member telling us that they couldn’t accommodate us and she would be looking into this message that I had left on the answering machine. Imagine being called on your cell phone while sitting in the office. Nobody had the decency to come out and talk to us, nor did Dr Barnett which would have been the right thing for her to do in this case. The situation could’ve been prevented with competent office staff if I had at the very least received a call back like I requested in my message two days before, and rectified easily onsite but at this office, you are not treated like a person.

I had such a wonderful experience! Olga was so kind and welcoming, and the esthetician who did my facial (I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name!) was incredibly attentive and did an amazing job. I’m 86 years old, and I truly appreciated the care and professionalism they showed me. I’ve been going to the one in Boca. My skin felt so good right after, and the next day it looked even better. Super recommended! ✨

I’ve seen the Rebecca the practitioner at the Boca location twice now and it’s been the best experience I’ve had at a dermatologist. I have been with three different dermatologists over the past few years and they kept treating me with no progress at all. First appointment with Rebecca I saw immense improvement and she was so friendly and informative. I highly recommend Barnett Dermatology to anyone!
