Alexa is great. She recommended me a facial I didn’t even know I needed. Everything that has been buried under my skin for probably a while now was brought to the surface and my skin was smoother and cleaner than ever. She does a great job.
I got the Moveo Laser Treatment service from Beach Body Med Spa on May 27, 2025. Before the treatment, my face felt Like I had a layer of dry, dead skin on the top. The purpose of the laser treatment is to reduce pigmentation or sun damage, fine lines, and stimulate collagen. I expressed more concern over fine lines and overall texture than Skin pigmentation. The Nurse applied numbing cream all over my face and neck and had me wait for 30 minutes for it to take effect. She Asked about my skin care, goals, and explain the Procedure. She also asked about my tolerance for pain. They can adjust the laser intensity to more conservative, or aggressive depending on the person. I opted for more of a conservative yet effective laser intensity setting. I would describe the pain of the procedure as approximately 3.5 out of 10 (high). It felt like repeated electric shocks onto my face, I wasn’t squirming or trying to jump off the table or anything like that. They did give me a two blowing cold air directly onto my face that I could hold because my face did feel really hot During the treatment. They also told me to blast my air conditioning in the car on the way home onto my face, which I did. I think for the first two hours after the treatment I felt really burnt and hot skin Which was rather uncomfortable at the time, but then it went away. At this point, I would have the procedure done again. I keep touching my face which you’re not supposed to do, but it just feels so soft. I can’t help myself.. The pictures above are from two days after the procedure, I wasn’t supposed to be outside in the sun, but it was only 8 AM. You do have to hold up inside for about seven days and avoid the sun like the plague, but it’s the perfect excuse to do nothing for a little while . The only thing I have to compare this experience to is doing Vivace RF Microneedling at Beautysmart Boca in 2019, that was more painful than the Moveo. I would also like to add that the wonderful nurses at Beachbody med spa for kind enough to Write out steps for aftercare (see pic), So I rate them five out of five stars for caring and concern. I think this procedure is worth it for the wonderful smooth skin afterwards, even though it does come with some discomfort and downtime. I would do it again.
I went to this Med Spa and they gave me great treatment as a black male. It is hard to find medical spas that can suit our needs. This place was quick, reliable and painless after my procedure. I went back to life as normal and have felt more confident than ever.
