Defined Medical Aesthetics by Dr. Daryl McKee

I found out about Defined Medical Aesthetics when searching for UltraClear laser treatments. The reviews looked promising so I contacted them for a consultation. Dr. McKee was very knowledgeable about the procedure and his consultation was very thorough. All my questions were answered and all my concerns were addressed. I was anxious about the procedure being too painful for me but Dr. McKee assured me that he had several things at his disposal to make me very comfortable. When I went got my procedure , I was greeted by Ashleigh who applied topical numbing cream and made me feel very welcome. Dr. McKee met with me again to review the procedure. He then provided some injections to help numb me further and provided a cooling fan as well as providing Breathable nitrous oxide to help relax me. To be honest I could not even tell when he started and had to ask him ! (I am putting a lot of details in this review so that if you’ve never had a laser treatment you will know what to expect. I hope this is helpful and not an overload of information. ) The procedure was a little uncomfortable briefly for some of the deeper treatment areas but overall it was very tolerable. Dr. McKee provided in office after care -cooling soaks, moisturizer and sunscreen as well as reviewing the aftercare I would continue at home. I did purchase the Plated exosome serum that is recommended and I think it helped my healing and recovery. To be honest , I was very uncomfortable the first 2-3 days after the treatment. My face was very red , swollen and felt tight and hot. The vinegar soaks really helped with that. I am approaching day 7 post treatment and my skin is still a little red and itchy but very much looking like myself again. The biggest improvement I see right now is more radiant , brighter skin with a very smooth texture. I can tell that some of my static wrinkles are Softer and there is a somewhat of an improvement to the appearance around my eyes . Discoloration from sun damage is not totally gone but it is very much improved and I don’t think my skin is done shedding yet. As a point of reference I am a 70 year old female. I think Dr. McKee is very skilled in his use of this laser and his patient care is exceptional. I am very happy that I decided to go with an actual doctor and not an aesthetician to have this done .

Best of all, my lips are perfect - full and enhanced but so natural & soft. Dr. McKee, Alfie, and Jess were phenomenal!!!! Dr. McKee was very thorough with his analysis and transparent on what my skin needed without upselling me unnecessary procedures. I was concerned with my nasolabial folds and he helped me bring back my confidence. I’m genuinely happy with my results. He was so kind and gentle while doing the injections on my face.
