After losing over 100 lbs, I decided to reward myself with a Mommy Makeover (breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and liposuction). I had no idea where to even begin when researching a cosmetic surgeon, but after seeing that Dr. Ali was voted Detroit’s Best Doctor, I decided to book a consultation. From that very first appointment through all of my post-op visits, the entire experience was incredible. The staff was warm, welcoming, and professional from day one. I came to my consultation with photos of what I liked and didn’t like so Dr. Ali could understand my expectations. He was friendly, patient, and extremely informative. He took his time explaining the procedures, realistic expectations, and recovery, and made sure every single question was answered. I never felt rushed. I truly felt like I was his only priority during that appointment. He even showed me videos of his procedures and sent me home with computer-generated images of expected results and a detailed information packet about researching plastic surgeons and the importance of choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon. There was absolutely no pressure or sales pitch, he genuinely wants patients to feel informed and confident in their decision. I booked my surgery for a few months later, and the office staff (Marina and Brenda) were amazing. They encouraged me to reach out anytime with questions and were always incredibly responsive. Before surgery, I received thorough instructions on how to prepare and what to bring to the surgical center. Everyone there was wonderful as well. We traveled in for surgery and stayed at a nearby hotel the night before and after, which I highly recommend if you don’t live in the Metro Detroit area. My biggest piece of advice: follow the recovery instructions exactly! I had a small, self-inflicted complication because I tried to do too much too soon, but even through that, Dr. Ali and his team were incredibly responsive, compassionate, and supportive. I truly could not have asked for better care. I am beyond thrilled with my results. At my last appointment, Dr. Ali took measurements and everything was perfectly symmetrical, literally perfection! My scars have healed beautifully and are already barely noticeable after only a few months. This experience has been life-changing. I have confidence that I haven't had in decades! Shopping for clothes is finally fun, and when I went to be fitted for my first real bra at Victoria’s Secret, the fitter was blown away by how natural my results looked. She told me she sees many breast augmentations and had never seen results look so natural, and even asked for Dr. Ali’s name! I cannot recommend Dr. Ali enough to anyone looking for beautiful, natural-looking results and a surgeon who truly cares about his patients.

I had my breast reduction surgery less than two weeks ago, and I can already say, with confidence, that it was the best decision I have made! I consulted with a number of surgeons before Dr. Ali, and as soon as I consulted with him and read his reviews, I knew I wanted to go with him. From the beginning, he has been respectful, thorough, and did a great job walking me through all the steps of surgery, even showing me a video of him performing it, with a step by step explanation. I felt completely comfortable with him and he made sure to answer any questions or concerns I had. This was also my first time ever having a surgery, but because I felt like I was in such good hands, I didn’t have many nerves. Day one of surgery was not nearly as painful as I expected, the main sensation was pressure and soreness. The following few days post-op were extremely easy recovery days (in my experience) and I was relatively comfortable. I did not need or take the prescribed pain medication, Tylenol and ibuprofen did the trick just fine. Starting only two days post-op, my breasts looked so good! Now, almost two weeks post-op, I could not be happier with the results. I feel lighter, my back pain is gone, my posture is better, and I feel so much happier and confident. I am also confident that the scars will heal really nicely too! I went from a 38ddd to about a 36c. I could not recommend Dr. Ali more! Him and his staff are so kind and professional, and I am so glad I did this surgery with them.

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Ali, and from the start, it was a wonderful experience. The staff was excellent - they answered all my questions and scheduled appointments in a timely manner. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Complete, and they only accept this insurance for breast reductions, which was fantastic because I had called so many other places that didn’t take my insurance. My consultation was in April, and the surgery took place in July. Dr. Ali did a wonderful job, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this procedure. The entire process was smooth and professional from beginning to end.
