Hair Bar Salon and Med Spa

Worst haircut I've ever gotten... I asked Maiya for long layers with face framing and a slight taper at the back. I am never super picky about haircuts and don't think asking for a trim with layers is too much to ask, but something went terribly wrong. I came in with long, thick hair and I ended up with what can only be described as a botched mullet. When I looked at the back of my hair, I asked her to blend it more, to which she began hacking away at my hair, leaving huge chunks disconnected from the rest of my hair. I decided to leave and called the salon back to ask for a refund. I was told by another stylist Nicole that I could only get a refund if I spoke directly with Maiya, which I did not feel comfortable with. They lacked any remorse and never apologized. I ended up going to another salon later that afternoon because I had an important interview the next day. Three stylists had to help recover what was left of my hair. After growing out my hair for four years, I ended up losing six inches and I now have a bob that will require additional appointments to fix the blunt "layers" as it grows out. I cannot express how disappointed I am in the service I received at Hair Bar.

I had a horrible hair cut the time before I came here. 5 years of hair growth ruined. I was really nervous to get my hair done again, but WOW. I cut my hair the shortest is been since I was 17 today. I worked with Jessica and not only did she kill it, but she made me comfortable from the first moment. She communicated with me the whole time to make sure I left feeling my best. She made me feel like me again, but with better cooler hair lol.

Such a great first time experience at the Hair Bar. I saw Lyndsey for a deep conditioning, cut and style. Her services were amazing, she listened to my requests and gave great advice. I felt so refreshed and relaxed leaving. Especially enjoyed the hand massage and hair tips! I will be back :)

I’ve been coming here ever since they first opened, and I have always had an amazing experience here. Lyndsey is the absolute BEST. She always exceeds my expectations, and as someone who doesn’t always know what they want, she always has great recommendations. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!
