I feel really sad about the lack of follow-through from Dr Angelastro and am honestly confused by it. In 2025, I was a patient of hers but sometimes found it difficult to communicate/ to schedule appointments with her team. Suddenly, Medicaid switched me automatically to another PCP, which I learned has to do with her being registered as a nurse practitioner on their end, not a PCP. In 2026 I decided to go to her again, because in-person she seems really kind and thoughtful. At the end of our appointment, she told me to send her the name of a doctor I wanted to be referred to regarding rib subluxations/acute pain in my ribs and some specific requests for labs (or to see which ones she could order, I was aware she may not be able to order all of them). I emailed both of those things later in the day, and never got a referral or heard anything back. I texted their number, no response. I called, no one picked up. I called again, her assistant picked up and was really apologetic and said Dr Angelastro would get to it soon. She did not. I texted a couple days later to check in, her assistant once again said that she'd make sure Dr Angelastro was aware, again, no follow-up, no referral for this specific doctor made, no updated labs ordered. I don't think it should be this difficult after appointments to follow-up with patients, and as a disabled and chronically ill person, doing this amount of work to organize and try to move things along is honestly outside of my capacity. Even though I think in person she is attentive, I'll be moving on to another doctor in the future.

I've been a patient of Deidre, coming up on three years (I should have posted a long time ago!) and she is the most absolute best, she takes her time (even if it makes her run late), truly cares about your health and as a person. Carolyn who runs the show, is the most pleasant and friendly person you'd ever want to deal with in a doctor's office and is also genuinely concerned about you too. Every once in a while, I'll just stop by if in the area to say hello, and I'm always greeted with open arms and sometimes a hug. The most happiest I've ever been with a primary care provider! 💯🔥❤️

I can't speak highly enough of Deirdre at Head2Toe Health. She is truly one of the best primary care doctors I've ever had. From the moment you walk into her office, you feel valued and respected. Deirdre takes the time to listen to your concerns and ensures you feel like the most important appointment of the day. Her patience and dedication shine through in every interaction. It's evident that she genuinely cares about her patients well-being. If you're looking for a compassionate and skilled medical professional, I highly recommend Dierdre!
