Left with a numb face, no treatment, no refund, and rude behavior from staff. I cannot recommend the LaserAway at U Village in Seattle. I have been a laser client here for over two years, and during that time they have rescheduled my laser appointments several times. Every time, I extended grace and worked around their schedule. My most recent visit made it clear that this patience is not returned. The staff are rude and the services are highly overpriced. I arrived for a 1:00 p.m. Clear + Brilliant appointment and waited 20 minutes before anyone told me they were running late. No one said how late. A receptionist, not a nurse, then took me to a separate room, applied numbing cream to my face, and told me to wait about 30 minutes for the nurse. While applying the cream, she asked why I had only purchased one session instead of the full package, and then asked me, "Do you just not like to take care of your skin?" I had just paid $250 for a single treatment. That is me taking care of my skin. I politely told her I would decide on the package after this session and let the comment go. I waited more than 30 minutes. At the one-hour mark, with my appointment still not started, I stepped out to ask where the nurse was. I was told it would be another 35 to 40 minutes. By then the numbing cream had been on my face for over half an hour. A treatment that normally takes about 90 minutes was on track to take three hours, and at no point had anyone been upfront about the wait. I chose to leave. When I asked a second receptionist what was going on and about a refund, she interrupted me repeatedly, said she didn't know anything except that they were running late, and told me the refund was out of her control and that I would have to call about it myself. I was polite the entire time. She was short, dismissive, and unhelpful. I walked out with my face completely numb, no facial, and, as of this review, no refund and no guarantee that one is coming. Scheduling problems happen. Condescending comments about my skin care, rude staff, zero communication, and sending a paying client home numbed and untreated are something else entirely. After giving this location the benefit of the doubt for so long, I'm done. Save your time and your money and go somewhere that respects both.

I've been seeing noticeable progress with my laser hair removal treatments so far, and I appreciate that every appointment has started on time and that I've generally been well taken care of. However, I did have an uncomfortable experience that I believe is important to address. During one visit I was seen by a male nurse practitioner for a sensitive exam without being given advance notice or the opportunity to request a female provider or a female chaperone. For a service that sometimes involves intimate and sensitive areas, I believe we should be able to be informed beforehand about who will be performing the treatments and given the opportunity to express preferences to feel comfortable. I also work in the medical field and this level of transparency has always been openly communicated and I was disappointed it was not extended to me. While I've been happy with the results and punctuality, this experience left a bad impression and I would hope for consideration for customer comfort, consent, and choice in the future.

Honestly, I’m really upset with my experience at LaserAway. After my last session, I ended up with a burn mark on face that is still there a week later. This has never happened to me before, and it’s extremely frustrating. I’ve been a loyal customer and have even recommended LaserAway to three friends, so this experience was especially disappointing. I expected better care and would really like LaserAway to take responsibility and help make this right.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but after my experience, I feel it’s important to share this so others can make an informed decision. I’m currently on my 7th session with this clinic, and unfortunately, 7 out of those 7 sessions have involved some kind of issue. The most recurring problem has been appointments being canceled without any notice, and then it becomes extremely difficult to reschedule. In one case, after my appointment was canceled, the next available time they offered was almost 2 months later. Today’s experience was especially disappointing. My appointment was scheduled for 10:45 AM (which I had confirmed over the phone), yet I received a call at 10:30 AM from the front desk (Mind) in a very rude tone, saying I was late and that they wouldn’t be able to complete my full treatment. I was not late. My appointment was at 10:45. What makes this even more frustrating is that every single time I’ve come in (all 7 sessions), I’ve been on time, yet I’ve had to wait 20–30 minutes past my appointment time to even be seen. When I arrived today, not only did they refuse to complete my full treatment, but they also did not acknowledge their mistake and instead treated me as if I was in the wrong. The front desk staff barely made eye contact and were extremely dismissive and unprofessional. The technician who performed my treatment, Celine, was very cold and indifferent. This made the experience even more uncomfortable, especially considering that laser treatments are already quite personal and can feel vulnerable. Being treated with such lack of care and empathy was honestly very upsetting. At the front desk, again with Mind, I was treated with the same lack of respect — minimal communication, no accountability, and a very dismissive attitude. And unfortunately, this is not just about today. This has been a pattern throughout my entire experience with this location. The only reason I have continued with this clinic is because I’ve already invested $4,000 into the treatment. Otherwise, I would have stopped coming a long time ago. At this point, I still have two sessions left, and I’m planning to go to a different location — even if it means driving almost an hour — just to hopefully have a more respectful and humane experience. Also, the results have also been underwhelming. After 7 sessions, I’ve seen maybe around 20% improvement, which is far from what I was expecting for this level of investment. I’ve also referred friends at the beginning of my journey, and unfortunately, they have had similar negative experiences, both with customer service and results. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing service experiences I’ve ever had. I truly regret choosing this clinic and referring others to it. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve, because no client should feel disrespected, dismissed, or undervalued the way I have. If you’re considering starting treatment here, I would strongly encourage you to carefully consider your options.
