My 8-year-old daughter has needed regular blood work since she was 3 years old. Throughout the years, we've faced countless challenges because she is an extremely difficult stick. We've had multiple lab technicians, nurse practitioners, mobile phlebotomy companies, specialists, and even a pediatric surgeon attempt to draw her blood. Many of those experiences involved multiple needle sticks, several people holding her down, and repeat appointments because they were unable to successfully obtain her blood. In conclusion, Jose is the only person I trust to draw blood from my child. He has turned something that once caused severe anxiety and panic attacks into a positive experience.
