Lords & Ladies Salon and Medical Spa - Gilbertsville

The first two photos are what I showed my stylist. I specifically said " I have had a lot of hair colors and DARK is my favorite as DARK as you can go without it being black." The last two are how I walked out of the salon. Not only does it look nothing like what I showed her- I also had to wait an hour for my appointment. I did have a referral from a friend so I did have a small discount. However there is no way I would of paid full price for this. It is not at all what I had showed the stylist or asked for. I Also have an autistic daughter and had waited weeks for this appointment - so I could prepare my daughter for me to be away from her during my appointment time. Im posting this because It felt like the staff had no regard to the fact that myself (or clients) have real life scenarios and things going on outside of their appointment due to the lack of motivation to do the hair correctly and keeping clients waiting over an hour for an appointment. It was very apparent that it was the end of the day and everyone was more concerned with going home than anything else. The above was my original review- I believe it's important to add that the owner commented (as you can see) that they would be reaching out, but like the rest of the staff actually does not care. -They never reached out -I called asking to speak with them soley based off the comment from them saying they would reach out. -I was told they were out until this past Thursday -I called Thursday afternoon -I was told they were busy that they would call me back. -They never called me back. -I called corporate left a message. -No one has called me back

I have been going to Lords and Ladies for almost a year now. Carissa is so attentive and amazing, and it is clear that the focus is not just on relaxation but also on improving the overall health and condition of my skin. Everything has felt personalized and thoughtful, and I leave feeling refreshed with my skin glowing. Highly recommend to anyone looking to pamper themselves while investing in their skin’s health!

I booked a last minute appointment for a simple root retouch. The salon assistant was asked to wash my hair. She didn’t wash out any dye from the back of my head. There was hair dye on my face. There was black hair dye all over my hands, on my clothes and everything I touched. Someone did offer to re wash my hair and she was amazing ! I paid $87, (left wet) lol . 0/10 recommend! I would never go back here ! This isn’t the first time I left with more than my roots dyed black !!

Alisa is an excellent hairstylist! She did my daughter’s very first highlights, and she couldn't be happier with the results. She took the time to make sure everything looked perfect, and her highlights came out absolutely amazing. She was professional, friendly, and made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Alisa if you're looking for a talented stylist!
