About the Provider
Luma Skin is a skincare and laser hair removal studio on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, between 31st and 32nd streets, near Herald Square, Koreatown and Penn Station. It was founded by Daria, a New York State licensed cosmetologist, and treatments are given one client at a time in a private studio.
Laser hair removal uses a Candela GentleMax Pro Plus with Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths, and the studio treats all skin types. Prices run from $29 a session for small areas such as the upper lip to $399 for full body, with 6-session packages priced at five sessions and 55% off a new client's first session. The studio also has dedicated programs for men and for clients with PCOS.
The facial menu includes face massage with lymphatic drainage, deep pore cleansing, the Luxe Lift, hydrodermabrasion on the Candela Glacée, a CO₂ oxygen facial and Image Skincare peels, with facials from $139. Consultations and test patches are free, Affirm financing is available, and the studio is open seven days a week, 10 AM to 8 PM.
