MetroDerm - Buckhead

My experience with MetroDerm Buckhead was Amazing! As soon as I arrived the energy was very comforting. Everyone I came in contact with at MetroDerm Buckhead was very welcoming and they all had light energy. Dr.Ly. and his beautiful MA made me feel very comfortable they were really easy to talk to. Dr. Ly did an Awesome job educating me and providing me with options concerning my needs and explaining next steps. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ly. I greatly appreciate the Amazing customer service experience.

I was recommended to Metroderm through Emory, and I’m so glad that I was. The location was easy to find, there’s parking, and the office is super neat and clean. Dr. Ly was very kind, quick, and knowledgeable regarding my simple procedure. His staff is also kind and knowledgeable. I will be returning for all of my skin-related needs.

Lately I’ve been suffering from skin pigment discoloration and rash from the sun. Made an appointment here with Dr. long. Showed up at 10:30am, only patient in the waiting room so I knew the office wasn’t under a time constraint but feeling rushed in and out was an understatement….the assistant came in, took 3 poorly lit photographs of my arms on an IPad and left. 5 minutes later the doctor came in hot, already spewing off diagnoses without having laid a single eye or hand on me physically, rather basing his determination of these poorly captured photos. Not only was he extremely dismissive of my desire to have a skin cancer screening , but was very rushed in explaining over the counter solutions to me that no one in the office cared to even write down on paper prior to my departure. I’ve never felt this insignificant at a doctors visit in my life. Truly a “get their money and get them out” type of situation here ….if you’re looking for a doctor who cares about your situation as much as you, this is not the office for you. I can’t even grasp the reasoning behind their practices and why they would treat a patient this way…nothing about my experience begs a desire to return or seek any more professional opinions or lack there of from this office. Also, I was not extended the courtesy of clearly explaining my condition, the time from of its occurrence and or anything else for that matter. In fact, I know due to lack of note taking , that if I went back, they would have no record of my first visit and or topics discussed….you must be your own advocate for a positive experience at this and all doctors offices. Even if you have insurance, don’t get too excited over a small copay, as the doctors are still making their money, just at the expense of providing half minded medical advice.

I felt like he read what to do/say and how to treat my hair off ChatGPT like I did. He added no value/info & did not do any tests & charged $240 for a 5 minute conversation. I would not ever go back nor would I recommend him to anyone.
