I went to get a body scan and also check out a couple of spots. The office staff is helpful. Informative and nice. I filled out some of my paperwork online then finished in the office. I was taken back about 5 min before my appointment, the nurse was helpful, informative and listen to what I had to say. Then the PA ( my appt was with the PA)came in, she was very nice, very good bedside manner, and took her time. I was very happy and felt heard.
I was needing to establish a new relationship with a dermatologist and I think I found my new office. My experience was excellent from beginning to end. I saw Dr. Huffaker for a full body scan and he was very professional and friendly. He explained everything he was going to do as well as his findings in a way that was clear and easy to understand. He did have to take one biopsy, which he again explained throughout the process. His assistant and all of the office staff were welcoming. I only have two complaints and they are the following: Parking is very limited and a bit of a nightmare. I was able to get one remaining spot in the back, but I'm not sure what I would have done if I didn't. There are also people who park along the side of the building which makes it impossible for two cars to pass while entering and exiting. My second complaint was more of a disappointment. I felt like I found my new doctor only to learn that Dr. Huffaker is moving and leaving the practice in Lilburn! I'm hoping his coworkers are equally great.
This is my second appointment with MetroDerm Lilburn, GA and I will readily recommend this practice to anyone I know. The staff is so very nice and welcoming, beginning with the receptionist to the medical assistant to the provider. The wait time is very reasonable, it was easy to make an appointment, and the staff phoned back in a timely manner as promised The medical assistant and Leah Dingess, PA listened carefully, discussed options, and supported my decisions. I have confidence in this medical team and I’m grateful to have them as partners in my care.
Our initial visit was the best. Everyone was so welcoming And patient during our entire Visit. There is a genuine culture of care and connective mess that you don’t see in most medical facilities or offices. From the front desk to each and every medical person we encountered, even if they were not seeing us, we were greeted with smiles and sincere questions of how they could help. Definitely thankful for our referral to this doctor into this office.
