Upon entering the Michael Horne Center for Plastic Surgery, I was greeted by a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, pillows, and magazine articles featuring background on Dr. Horn. After a brief wait, Maddie, the office manager, warmly escorted me to a private and equally comfortable consultation room. Dr. Horn continued this positive impression. After a mirrored examination of my face and neck, he explained in clear detail how he would use the cutting-edge techniques he has honed over many years of practice to create a natural, refreshed version of myself. His confidence, thoroughness, and genuine manner reassured me that—after several other doctor visits—I was finally in the right place. UPDATE 3/19/2026 - Post-surgery I knew almost immediately that Dr. Horn was the right choice for my lift. He made me feel comfortable and completely at ease and carefully identified the areas that concerned me most—excess skin under my chin and a boxy look to my face. He explained his approach clearly, including a fat transfer to restore natural fullness to the mid-face so that the result would be the same “me,” only fresher and less wrinkled. That focus on a natural result was exactly what I wanted. Maddie was extremely diligent throughout the entire process, communicating all the necessary details and coordinating with my GP to obtain the required medical clearances. She made everything smooth and worry-free. I am now entering my third week of recovery and am extremely pleased with the results. The excess skin under my chin is gone and the marionette lines are barely noticeable. Friends tell me I still look like myself—just refreshed—which is exactly the outcome I hoped for. I’m very grateful to Dr. Horn and his team for their skill, care, and professionalism.
