had sort of a weird experience at this clinic today. i’ve had both botox and dysport done before here in MN and at a med spa i visit in my birth country of colombia. i am very familiar with med spas and injectables. i wanted to visit this place for a $3/unit dysport deal. i wasn’t aware that it was only valid on a limited amount of units which is ok. i asked the price for additional units which was $5 and i said that was fine. when asked where i wanted to treat i told them the areas i normally do (forehead, 11’s, crows, depressors, neck bands, and bottom of the nose for a tiny lift). i was told that was a lot of areas and i should pick one to focus on. i was confused bc as i’ve stated i’ve had these areas done before and recommended and i wanted to have them all treated. the ma wasn’t aware you could treat certain areas i mentioned and the doctor was pressing for just treating upper face. i didn’t push it and just agreed to it as i was feeling a little wary that they may not be as experienced as the other places i’ve been to. she told me the estimated number of units and cost which i agreed to, but then came in and said they didn’t have enough dysport and could only have 100 units done unless i wanted to add some of xeomin. this was also strange to me so i asked if they did a lot of botox there and she said yes. i said fine to the 100 units and then she started. she used a bigger needle that i was used to and no ice or vibration so it was a bit more painful. at one point some dysport dripped out of the syringe and into my left eye which has never happened before. then when she was done she warned me that i may bruise—i normally don’t but when i got home i noticed that i still had raised lumps a few hours later (normally they go away within 30 min) and a couple of bruises forming at the injection sites near my temples probably due to the bigger needle. i don’t want to sound rude as the staff were nice but it just seemed a little bizarre compared to my previous experiences and a little lacking.

I had to wait almost 45m, I was on time for my appt. Dr. informed me they were out of Dysport in my appt., no bother to call me ahead of time, didnt give me a discount for Dr being late & out of product. Won't go back.

Cynthia was very knowledgeable & explained everything as this was my first visit! Office & treatment area was very clean. Procedure (laser for nail fungus) was pain free & done in a timely manner. Will definitely be back!
