Dr. scheman, I'm sure is wonderful to work with as he is highly regarded and was referred by my main dermatologist. But, his scheduling team is a nightmare to work with. Amy, the patch test scheduler in particular must hate her job. I was shot down multiple for making a mistake in regards to my first call going over if my insurance actually covered the visit (patch testing). she cuts you off directly when you are trying to explain you have all the detail she needs, the comment that really got to me, mind you as an RN or anyone in healthcare (this would piss then off)… called me a baby for having my mom call and be involved in my care team…”I’m not the one that had their mom call for them” and I quote… she clearly has no idea how tough eczema is as it is a chronic incurable disorder- ironic bc she works for a dermatologist and sees this everyday and should know and understand that, she obviously lacks empathy for the patients trying to find control in their condition, and to tell the truth really she’s just an apathetic person who shouldn’t be in charge of scheduling important tests that have answers to peoples disorders. Very disappointed.

Dr. Scheman is amazing! I can't say enough positive things about my experience here. I had patch testing for a whole week, came back many times in that week to check progress, and each and every time I saw the staff and him, they were wonderful! Answered all my questions and Dr. Scheman not only took the time to go over everything that I was allergic too (which was A LOT) he made everything make sense and explained the app I need to use to make my life so much better with items that I am allergic too. 100% hands down the best experience. If you have allergies and want to know exactly what they are, come here! He is wonderful to work with!

Dr Scheman is a Wonderful Dermatologist. I was sent to him from my Dr because if rashes inflammation on and around my eyelids. He ordered allergy testing and had explained in a very caring professional way about what I can with day to day to help me with this issue. His staff is wonderful and very nice. Please see him if you are having issues he is truly a leading expert in his field!

I cannot even come close to expressing how thoroughly satisfied I am with my visit today, as well as how utterly relieved I am after seeing Lauren. Wow! ALL of my questions answered, professionally, and knowledgeably. It was such a great experience and I'm very grateful to have found an amazing dermatologist. VERY Friendly staff, VERY nice establishment, and VERY informative and helpful. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you, Lauren and Team... You were Awesome!
