I went in for a peel. Told her how much I wanted to spend on a little self care prior to Christmas- my daughter, a victim of DV was born on 12/24, so the holidays are tough. Pivot- now she's wanting to do microderm, in 3 parts: $1K for the first 2, the last one is comped. I cried from the pain, begged her to stop several times. She should've quit the first time that happened. If you're fairskinned a senior and/or under the care of a derm, consult with them b4 anything like this. She was totally aware of the reactions I'd had & the treatments I'd been receiving since COVID. I paid her $1K, but the damage done to my face resulted in my going through my deductible AND my OOP by May of this year. I had to hv pre cancer treatments and follow up appts. Several rounds of liquid nitrogen and a biopsy. This was a VERY aggressive treatment. I spoke with a board certified derm, an RN with decades of esthetic experience and a young girl newly certified: they all agreed this NEVER should have been done w/o clearing by my derm. In addition, if your eyebrows or lips are tatted, microderm is contraindicated because it can cause fading, which it did. My lips need to be redone and the skin on my brows is still so tore up from the treatment, I hv to wait LONGER to ck to see if I can get them done. Remember Ildico, you sd you were supposed to get a brow person on staff? I've had Botox, juvederm, peels, tats: never felt so beat up after a treatment. I let her know right away there were problems, sent photos. I was dealing w/some health issues and ended up having cancer surgery. I truly expected to hear back from her before now. She's a nice person, but knowing I'd been in derm treatment for as long as I have, she should hv insisted I get checked out by that provider. $1000 is a lot of money to reap zero benefits from.

When it comes to my face I am super particular. Recently I had the pleasure of a consultation with Dawn, who was so knowledgeable that even before she touched my skin she was already able to give a complete run down of problems that I had been dealing with. Granted to the average person my skin looked good but she noticed things that I hadn't even mentioned yet during the consultation. She took the time to explain ways I could combat future problems as well as things I could do to correct current problems. In the end I got the VI Peel done, the process was fluid, she explained each step as she completed the treatment and then sent me home with a card, products and her number instructing me that if I had questions to contact her day or night. I was stunned and shocked by this level of care, this shock continued even more so by the results I received. I have since gone back to have her do my laser hair removal. As a dark toned woman I had always a bit of fear of how my skin would react to the process, again Dawn took the time to go over the procedure before and as she completed the process. My results are amazing!!! So much so that I sent my brother to her and his results were equally amazing! If you are looking to go to someone who will offer you great care and a great service there is no need to be hesitant about going here and asking for Dawn. She will work wonders on your skin!
