The day I call Dr.Chakeer was the beginning of my old self returning I began my weight loss journey June 2025 at 170 now at 137. Dr.Chakeer is the most easy going doctor. He make you feel really comfortable and feel good about yourself. Will definitely recommend.

My appointment was with Claudia. She is always so pleasant to talk to and easy to. When I ask her a question she is easy to understand and she explains it so you will understand it. I like that she talks to you like a person and makes you feel good about yourself for what you did and the progress you made. Dr Chakeer is the same way. Natalie

I regret to say that I was very disappointed with my experience with this doctor. During our first visit, which was over Zoom, he was interrupted by someone from the office every few minutes. I also received almost no useful explanation about how GLP-1 medications work. I ended up learning much more from reputable podcasts and other educational resources than I did during my appointment. The second issue was even more frustrating. Before taking my first dose, I repeatedly called the office with questions, but I could not get anyone to answer the phone. When you are starting a medication that can have significant side effects, having access to the medical team is extremely important. What concerned me the most was the approach to increasing the medication. I was given a predetermined schedule for increasing the dose without enough discussion about how I was actually feeling on the medication, how much weight I was losing, or whether increasing the dose was necessary. In my opinion, treatment should be individualized and based on the patient’s response and tolerance. I was also prescribed 50,000 IU of vitamin D every two weeks without having my vitamin D level checked first. When I mentioned this to my family doctor, she was very surprised and recommended that I will stop immediately. During the second visit, I felt that the doctor was very impatient and seemed eager to end the appointment. When I asked for an example of what I should be eating, I was given an example of a diet that was around 500 calories per day. That was extremely concerning to me. Such a low-calorie intake is not an appropriate approach for most adults without close medical supervision. I am sharing this because I believe people should be very careful about who they trust with their health. GLP-1 medications can be very helpful, but they should be prescribed and monitored responsibly, with attention to the patient’s symptoms, nutrition, side effects, laboratory values, and overall health. Please do your research, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to get a second opinion. Your health is worth it.
