*Please read to the end- because I save the worst for last* It is with a very heavy heart and crippling anxiety that I write this. Over the past 20 years, I have been to several med spas and two dermatologists for tox, filler, and other services. On two occasions - TWO- I have been unsatisfied with tox, which the provider quickly remedied. Not only did Tish give me more units than I've ever had before, but the impact was awful. I had to go back due to significant droop - my eyes were basically hooded, which they weren't before (see photo). To her credit, she somewhat remedied this *free of charge* (I star this because I spent $2200 initially, so, not really free). But it's amateur hour when the ONE THING I told her that I was worried about actually happened. I was having two events in September and I had actually went in for a bit of lip filler. She convinced me that another treatment of Sculptra (I've had a few treatments in my temples before) would be more bang for my buck (Incidentally, Sculptra is much more costly..hmmm.) I took her advice - like an idiot. I TOLD her I had two events coming up, and I wanted to look good. Instead - I looked like I just went two rounds with Mike Tyson (see photos). She ASSURED me there would be very minimal bruising. People, this isn't even the worst of it. MOST disturbingly, I noticed a small change in my smile after the first round of Dysport and Sculptra. But after my "touch up" of tox, specifically to the crows area to "open my eyes up," THE ENTIRE SIDE OF MY FACE BECAME PARALYZED (see photo). The one thing I have always loved about myself is my smile. And now that's the one thing I don't have. This woman not only had the nerve to suggest perhaps I had a stroke, but she barely followed up. When I messaged her, understandably freaking out, she urged me to come in for an analysis. I have gone to a specialist and an aesthetic nurse for evaluation and the verdict is that it's likely inflammation due to nerve damage and I may or may not recover - time will tell. Tish specifically said she uses a very long needle and not a cannula, which BOTH professionals stated is likely the exact explanation - that and poor technique - as evidenced by the awful bruising (which "isn't supposed to happen").They also recommended DO NOT GO BACK. Tish is extremely sweet and likable, which is why this is so difficult to write. But if I were her, I would've offered a full refund and would not have stopped following up EVER. She just kept my money and was totally fine to let it go even though she DESTROYED my face. I get it, I signed consents and shit can sometimes happen. But all of this combined is absolutely unreal. I am mortified to smile now. I catch my reflection sometimes when I'm smiling and immediately want to shrivel up and die. As embarrassing as it is to post these photos, other women need to know. This woman doesn't know what the hell she is doing. STAY AWAY!
