“My first visit ever I had a skin tag that was dangling down my cat scratched it. This office was amazing cleaned and everyone is so welcoming. They saw me so fast. It was amazing. Definitely will return!”

I’m not the type to write reviews especially because the staff is nice here but the wait times can be absurd. If your appointment is at any time honestly, from that time at LEAST another 45 minutes from when they call you. Ive waited longer each time. I’ve had to go for my appointment then leave and reschedule because I simply have to block out at least 2 hours off of my schedule to be seen. And it’s confusing because all I have to do is see the doctor once a month for Accutane nothing crazy just have to be seen. I’m just so confused why they take so long I get it’s normal to wait but every time just sucks and is draining. It’s gotten to the point where I want to switch doctors.
I had a great experience with Karen Baker, PA-C, and her assistant, Yelen, at South Florida Dermatology. They were both professional, kind, and attentive throughout my visit. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable and well cared for. The staff was also friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend South Florida Dermatology.
The staff is very disrespectful. I asked a question about my appointment, and the receptionist answered with a snappy, poor attitude. My appointment was at 9:30, so arrived at 9:20. I was called into my room at 10:10 and finally attended at 10:26. After asking the assistant to repeat the name she called out, she got visibly upset, pointed at me aggressively, almost rushing me. The nerve is disgusting. My actual meeting with the dermatologist was 1 minute. Overall, wait time was obscene and appointment was rushed.
I called and was hung up on while I was looking for the insurance information. I called back and another super rude receptionist answered who was extremely ride and had an attitude and a tone as if I was asking for a favor. I will not be going here. Will find a professional dermatologist office who is respectful to the patients or potential patients.
