I had an Appointment today at the Lake Nona location seeing Dr. Hendricks and his nurse/assistant Morgan both of them are fabulous! I been having symptoms of scalp irritation and hair shedding and wanted to find out the cause. I am so glad I made the Appointment 1st Morgan is very happy, a good listener and conversationalist she is very thorough with notation and makes you feel at ease which is exactly why she makes a great partner with Dr. Hendricks (no relation lol) he is very knowledgeable, listens to all your concerns, kind, I always feel comfortable and confident that he has my best interest, I highly recommend him to my family and friends. Thank you! Like Arnold said “I’ll be back!”

From the moment I called to schedule my appointment till the time that I left I had a great experience. I was greeted upon my arrival filled out my forms on the tablet waited maybe five minutes before my name was called. The nurse Morgan was very thorough and kind and listened to my concerns. I then waited another 5 to 7 minutes for doctor Daniel Hendricks to come in he also was very thorough and kind. He had amazing bedside manners. I highly recommend the dermatologist office. I have scheduled my follow up appointment.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Patrick and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The office is clean, welcoming, and well-organized, which immediately puts you at ease. Dr. Patrick took the time to really listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident in my treatment plan. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable in what he does. The staff was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient. They made the entire visit smooth and stress-free from start to finish. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who combines expertise with a caring approach, along with a fantastic support team, I highly recommend Dr. Patrick and his office!

My experience with Dr. Patrick was very disappointing. I sought medical care because I have a significant history of skin cancer, including melanoma, carcinoma, and precancerous lesions. During my appointment, I presented a lesion that concerns me because it is very similar to one I had in the past that was ultimately diagnosed as carcinoma after a biopsy. Dr. Patrick examined the lesion with a dermatoscope and stated that a biopsy was not necessary at this time. I respect his professional opinion and understand that not every lesion requires a biopsy. However, at no point did I feel that my concerns were genuinely heard. I was never asked about symptoms related to the lesion, such as itching or burning, nor did I feel that my previous history of melanoma and carcinoma was adequately considered during the discussion. I explained several times that I understood the limitations imposed by insurance and that I was willing to pay for the biopsy out of pocket because I was not comfortable simply waiting six months for a follow-up evaluation. Unfortunately, the appointment became uncomfortable. I felt that my concerns were being dismissed, and there was very little openness to discussing my reasoning or answering my questions. At one point, Dr. Patrick left the room, and the conversation was effectively concluded by his assistant, leaving me feeling that my concerns had not been properly addressed. More than disagreeing with the medical decision itself, I left feeling frustrated by the lack of listening, empathy, and meaningful communication. Patients with a history of skin cancer often come to appointments with legitimate concerns, and I believe those concerns deserve to be heard and treated with respect. For that reason, I do not plan to return and would not recommend this physician to patients who value a more compassionate, patient-centered, and collaborative approach to care.
