“Alma is a great company. Their reps are great, mine particularly is! Alma was my first laser company I ever worked with”

We had an Alma rep visit our recently opened small, 1 provider practice trying to get us to commit to a unit we would never use, and was not in our business model. Fast forward 1 year later, a financing company calls at our surprise, and is inquiring about the financing that we were submitted for (totaling $311,000) they we never authorized them to submit. We keep getting calls from this financing company now from different numbers. This was not at a trade show that our office enquired or called Alma, strictly a sales rep stopping by our office unannounced. Use extreme caution when you even only talk to these people.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Title: Unethical sales pipeline, disregard for clinical qualifications, and major liability risk Alma Lasers engages in highly irresponsible and misleading distribution practices. Rather than vetting buyers and ensuring their class of energy-based devices is sold strictly to properly licensed medical directors and qualified clinicians, their sales representatives actively target non-medical operators. ( Like Dental and other) Misleading untrained buyers into believing they have the legal standing or clinical capability to run these devices creates an enormous public health hazard and massive legal exposure for the buyers themselves. The state-level scope-of-practice regulations exist for a reason: powerful laser and energy devices require rigorous clinical oversight. Bypassing established safety, training, and credentialing standards simply to offload high-ticket machinery is unacceptable. Alma needs immediate regulatory scrutiny for their aggressive, misleading sales practices. Avoid doing business with them. Note: If you have documented evidence of their sales reps telling unlicensed individuals that they can legally operate specific Class II or Class IV devices in your state, filing a formal complaint with the FDA (MedWatch/Device Reporting) and your State Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division or State Medical Board often triggers actual regulatory inquiry into their marketing and distribution practices.

Absolutely not! Their rep, Jeff, was tasked with selling the Alma Ted and making promises of sales and marketing that have not been delivered. Jeff stated that a client in Sandusky expanded to 3 offices in 1 year with the marketing team and that this was possible for myself. Now here we are, 5 months later, no marketing support, no sales. The financing company is calling for the payment stating that their agreement is with me and not Alma. I've reached out to Alma asking where to return the machine as Alma is in breech of their contract. At this point, I dont book lunches for device companies as the device companies share information and discuss the details of previous sales amongst themselves that may be used to assist their counterparts in making their quotas. This company deserves a class action suit for predatory activity against medical providers. I'll keep you posted concerning the outcome. Update: almost 1 year out. Ryan at PatientQ did not deliver a single patient after 4 months of marketing. I've never seen this before. I requested that the marketing budget be distributed to a company with known results. No response. Rebecca the rep from the Ohio area has not responded in months. Since the last update, I met another provider that had s very similar result. Please reachout if you’ve had similar experiences. Im in the process of filing a complaint with the attorney general...the BBB COMPLAINT was never responded to by Alma. Look at the chart of the reviews here...it clearly shows 25% plus 1 star reviews. The complaints all state the same... being promised services nit provided by alma. I wonder if there are enough providers to file a class action suit.
