STEPHANIE N. ANDERSON · GOOGLE REVIEW
Not sure why the rates are so high but this place is an absolute fraud. I had a chance to buy a groupon for morpheus8 at this place and after signing docs, I found that device that they are going to use is not official one. After checking later - it is not even licensed in US. Staff became absolutely impolite as soon as they found that I understand that the device that they sell as Morpheus8 is a Chinese fake that cost $2-5k instead of $70k licensed Inmode Morpheus8 (official brand) They literally pushed me to leave and not stay there to understand the cancellation policy. Also, my appointment was for Dr Thomas Lee that I never saw and I was about to be served by nurse. So I would not recommend anyone to risk their body and health by visiting this place. I’m updating my review with additional details and clarifications. What I purchased: A Groupon for “Morpheus8 RF Micro-Needling for Abdomen.” Morpheus8 is a specific FDA-cleared, trademarked medical device made by InMode. The Groupon listing used the “Morpheus8” name throughout. What I observed at the clinic: Before the procedure began, I noticed the device did not visually resemble an InMode Morpheus8. I asked to see the manufacturer label. The label showed no model number, no manufacturer name, no country of origin, no FDA clearance information, and no InMode branding. The only marking was a CE symbol and a barcode beginning with “ZHLYH” — a format consistent with Chinese factory inventory codes. I have photographs. Why this matters for pricing: An authentic InMode Morpheus8 system costs a clinic approximately $80,000, with ongoing certified consumables and authorization fees. Generic unbranded RF microneedling devices are sold on wholesale platforms for roughly $2,000. When a clinic charges Morpheus8 prices but uses an unbranded device with no manufacturer information or FDA clearance, the patient is paying for a product they are not receiving. What I asked for: I requested any documentation proving (1) the device is FDA-cleared for use in the United States, and (2) the clinic is authorized by InMode to provide Morpheus8 treatments. The Nurse Practitioner who was going to perform the procedure told me it is not something he can do. I was given no documentation of any kind. How I was treated when I requested a refund: I was asked to leave the treatment room and wait in the lobby. While waiting — because I wanted to make sure my refund request was properly recorded with Groupon — the same Nurse Practitioner came out and asked me twice why I was still there, comparing the situation to “returning something at Walmart” and telling me someone would call me within 24 hours. I felt pressured to leave the premises before my concerns were resolved. Regarding the provider: I received three text confirmations stating my appointment was with “Thomas Lee MD.” The clinic’s response to my original review states I was scheduled with a Nurse Practitioner, not a doctor. These two statements cannot both be true. Regarding the voucher: The clinic marked my Groupon voucher as “Redeemed — Used on May 6, 2026” despite the fact that I declined the procedure and received no service. I do not feel it is legal and fair.
I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Aurora Advanced Aesthetics. Michael was absolutely incredible!! He took the time to really study my face, listen to my concerns, and, most importantly, be completely honest about what I actually needed versus what I simply thought I wanted. That level of integrity is rare in aesthetics. I trust Michael so much I would practically hand him my checkbook and say “do what you think is best,” because every recommendation he’s made has given me the BEST results I’ve ever had. Nothing overdone, nothing pushed unnecessarily… just honest expertise and beautiful, natural results. If you want someone who genuinely cares about helping you look your best instead of just selling treatments, this is the place to go.
Great booking process!
