Dr. Chapin and his staff are truly wonderful. Very kind and considerate. Dr. Chapin has a great sense of humor, something I appreciate very much. He puts you at ease and in my case takes away anxiety about the Blepharoplasty surgery and the CO2 Laser resurfacing I was getting to take away some deep wrinkles and smooth out an old scar I had from a automobile accident. The Blepharoplasty surgery: I had very droopy outer eyelids. It runs in my family. As I got older it was starting to interfere with my peripheral vision and also the upper eyelid skin laying on the skin below would get sore. I had been contemplating getting Blepharoplasty surgery for sometime. Lisa at Dr. Chapin’s office suggested I talk to Dr. Chapin about it. I wish I had gotten it done years ago. The surgery was so quick, easy and painless. The recovery time was very quick. If you are contemplating have Blepharoplasty surgery, don’t hesitate any longer. It is well worth it and I’m sure you will be very happy with the results and with Dr. Chapin and his staff. The CO2 laser resurfacing: This is a very serious resurfacing, but it has helped my skin so much. I am very pleased with the results and am looking forward to my skin getting better and better as time goes on. A wonderful team and great results. I was nervous to have any type of cosmetic procedure done, but after a friend suddenly showed up looking vibrant & refreshed, and shared her secret with me, I was confident that Dr Chapin did great work. Am 100% at peace with looking my age, I just didn’t want to look tired all the time. Worth the trip from NYC, and a great excuse to visit gorgeous Bucks County, PA.
While Dr Chapin might be very highly recommended, my experience was terrible. I scheduled a consult for a breast reduction. I was asked my height and weight at the start of the appt. Then alllllll the other details were discussed and the very vulnerable pictures of my breasts taken. The nurse then went to talk to Dr Chapin who proceeded to come into the exam room, have a full conversation with me, take measurements of my breasts, etc only to tell me my BMI was too high and he wouldn’t operate. As someone who has worked in health care their entire adult life, I totally get it. However, having me go thru the vulnerability of the topless pictures and measurements of my breasts when they knew from minute 3 of my appointment that they would be saying no is honestly abhorrent. I am an extremely healthy individual despite the number on the scale and all that was dismissed, but honestly, not dismissed early enough. I would have rather been told at the get go that due to my bmi dr Chapin wouldn’t perform surgery instead of going through the entire appt, topless photos and all. Even if I do end up losing the weight to meet his bmi maximum, I would find a different surgeon bc his bedside manner in this situation was incredibly dismissive and unnecessary
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chapin & his staff. In 2021 I had a breast reduction & about 8 weeks ago I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair. The care I’ve received both times was nothing short of immaculate. Dr Chapin is extremely professional, educated, wonderful bedside manner, empathetic & personable. Always listens to any concerns or questions. I can’t thank them all enough for the wonderful care I have received. I don’t plan on having any other surgeries but I will 100% recommend him to anyone looking to have a cosmetic procedure done ! ❣️
